Build a peaceful village with the help of charming magical spirits in Turbo Dog Games’ debut title
Turbo Dog Games is excited to announce that Spiritstead will launch for PC via Steam on August 6, 2026, priced at $9.99. Supported by WINGS, Spiritstead is a cozy city builder about creating a peaceful village with a little help from some friendly and occasionally quirky spirits.
Start with a few homes and turn a quiet patch of enchanted land into a village full of life. Give villagers jobs, keep them happy, and build welcoming places such as cafés, markets, farms, and bonfires. There is always something new to build, improve, or decorate but there is no need to rush.
The spirits are here to help, too. Players can discover them by interacting with the world and uncovering its little surprises. Each spirit has its own look and special abilities. Once found, they can care for villagers, manage parts of the town, and automate everyday tasks.
“We grew up watching Hayao Miyazaki’s films and fell in love with the warmth, wonder, and coziness of those worlds,” said Diana at Turbo Dog Games. “With Spiritstead, we wanted to capture that same comforting feeling while giving it our own playful twist through a hand-drawn art style and a world filled with quirky spirits.”
Two Ways to Play
Adventure Mode offers around 6–8 hours of gentle management challenge. Players begin with their first home, grow the settlement, work with villagers and spirits, and eventually restore the Grand Spirit Sanctuary.
Creative Mode is all about freedom. Build, decorate, experiment, and redesign the village without pressure or objectives getting in the way.
