Summary:
This issue starts with Tilly and the gang traveling to find Val and the Lich, who disappeared in the last issue. The story proceeds as we switch over to a small village called Maskyr’s Eye, where a villager is led away from a bar and devoured by the same tentacle creature.
Later on, we see that the controlled villager leads a group of other villagers to find treasure in a cave within Maskyr’s Eye, while Val and her friends continue to use the Lich eye to their advantage.

The tone of the book remains the same from the previous issue, with a lot of banter between characters along with more characters being added to the fold; Val looks like she’s starting to become a formidable antagonist, as originally the story would have made you think that she was helping Tilly and the rest of the warriors.

The end of the issue features character stats for enemies such as the Gibbering Bard.
Again, the plot continues to push itself as Tilly and the gang continue to try to find Val and the Lich. The artwork, dialogue and colors look great, along with the cover image as well. Readers who are already into Dungeons and Dragons will probably get the most out of this series.
Overall: 8/10
