The game has a deeply rich; and colourful aesthetic, and the controls are super simple. You control several discs to line up coloured points to remove them from the screen; you do this until the screen; is overcome with points, and it's game over! The more points you remove, the more you score.

"ooo_1"

You chain multiple lines if you are lucky enough. Powerups such as rewinds, rainbows, and bombs add other strategic elements to consider when playing; these help you eek an extra few points in that round. A rich soundtrack and sound effects do lift the game and add more depth. Like any game, there are a host of achievements to get while you get that highest score, and you can challenge your friends too.

Like any smartphone game, it's intuitive, super fun and simple to pick up and play. You will spend countless hours trying to get the highest score and climb up the scoreboard. The simple nature hides an elegant game that is tough to master but super enjoyable!

A family consisting of a man, woman, child and dog are chilling at home one night. Having their whole life turned upside down by a series of strange events where aliens descend from the sky. Destruction, weirdness, and an unpredictable world are where you start on this journey. The man is left; with his dog in search of the woman and child.

The game has a dark Sci-Fi atmospheric environment quality throughout. It has this beautiful film quality to it; the wonderful dark world is lit up with the odd spaceship, lamp, or hanging light. These glimmers of light in the world; ratchet up the tension in the world. It gives a wonderful; sense of being in this crazy world where you know very little.

"somerville1"

Every event, explosion, and alien encounter is pronounced by the score. It's on purpose that you know very little, there is no real; narration of what is going on, and it's a journey of exploration. You just navigate areas where you figure out the path by trial and error; you must figure it out all with little to no hints. For me, some narration and some; feedback apart from dying would have enhanced the game. It's too mysterious for its own good, which is a shame.

"somerville2"

I love the straightforward controls, it takes little to navigate and control the character, and it's responsive too. You come to an area and solve a variety of puzzles to progress to the next area. The art direction is wonderful; I love the indie genre for pushing gaming into new avenues and trying to explore gaming. Games aren't as cookie-cutter as they used to be. There are lots to like in this game.

"somerville3"

The game does lack some key, narration and feedback that will; just enhance the whole gaming experience. I felt some narration or some story would have helped immensely. At times I felt some narration or some story would have helped immensely. At times I felt lost, and that was an issue when it happened over and over again. It's beautifully designed, and the gameplay is fun, but the lack of story / cohesive narrative is the main issue I had with the game. I love the idea of lacking narration in a puzzle adventure game and enjoyed lots of the gameplay.

Overall: 7/10

Developer: Santa Monica Studio

Platforms: PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5 (Reviewed)

Genre: Action, Adventure, RPG

Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment

God of War Ragnarök is the highly anticipated follow-up to the much-acclaimed God of War, released in 2018. God of War Ragnarök continues from the last game, where you are immersed in the immersive story of Kratos and Atreus. For those who haven't played God of War or can't remember the plot from the last game, a handy recap gives you an overview of the last; game which was much needed by me.

Ragnarök on the PS5 does utilise the power of the console, and from the first action, you see the world of God of War in stunning detail from the characters, level design, enemies, and surroundings are precise and pristine. It takes your breath away, and throughout the, entirety of the game, you are surprised and just in awe of the fantastic screenshot-laden game. I mean, the first impressions do; set the tone for the whole game, and it doesn't disappoint. It's very hard; to find any visual defects in the game; the landscapes and the variety of environments are stunning. I loved the transition from dark colosseum-like structures to open-world beaches, underwater levels, and much more. The game seamlessly brings the player through the story to playable parts, the game has a more immersive feel, and you feel a part of the story.

"godofwarragnarok1"

The cinematics throughout the game is further enhanced by the wonderful music score and sound effects. The superb music enhances every boss fight and cinematic piece. This is enhanced through the controller's haptic feedback, thinking of extra texture throughout the game.

Gameplay centres on using Kratos in this sandboxed environment which isn't an open world. This, means that levels are very structured, and God of War has made intricate levels that are wonderful to explore and find things. Levels are even more intriguing when you must use Atreus and work as a team to solve puzzles and progress further in the world. I didn't feel burdened and bored at any point when doing missions or side missions which just; made the game more enjoyable.

"godofwarragnarok5"

You can build your skill tree and upgrade your armour and weapons to customise; to your play style. The combat is superb; levelling up helps you get additional combos and move sets.

The weapon choices do give a richer; and deeper gameplay feel. Each weapon will affect how you play and how you level it up. I loved the diverse power-up options. The shields are intriguing; some shields are designed as big huge shields that; block, whereas others are more nimble and rely on parries.

"godofwarragnarok2"

Boss fights add another depth to the gameplay; you fight a mixture of Gods, Creatures, and the undead. Each boss battle requires you to approach the fight strategically, and button-bashing won't help! Some of the bosses are huge and impressive in scale. The mini-bosses and random bosses appear throughout the exploration of the world.

Game Length and playtime will be up to 40 hours, but this really depends on how many of the side quests; and if you decide to collect every trinket in the game. This, is a ballpark figure, and if you are taking your time as I did, it's easily a much longer and richer experience. There is a real timeless quality to the exploration in the game; it never seems like a chore; this includes the side missions. The side missions are as rewarding and interesting as the main missions too!

"godofwarragnarok3"

Graphic Fidelity Modes:

Resolution mode: 4k @ 30 FPS

Performance mode: 60 FPS

Performance Mode with High Frame Rate: 4k @ 40 FPS

Frame Rate Mode: 120 FPS

"godofwarragnarok4"

It's hard to find a more complete game in terms of gameplay, storytelling, and just all-out fun. It stays faithful to the storytelling and general awesomeness of God of War (2018) but is bigger, bolder and; is a beautiful next step in the journey of God of War. God of Ragnarök has this wonderful cinematic element that underpins the entire game, the transitions from a narrative-based story to solving puzzles and ultimately beating huge enemies. The game has this beautiful flow, and I ended up losing hours in the game where I was so immersed that I didn't feel the time go by. Ragnarök achieves this wonderful timeless immersion through fantastic level design, great storytelling, believable characters, stunning visuals, and amazing action rolled into one. The buddy team of Kratos and Atreus just makes the story and gameplay more involved to the player without making it seem like a standalone one-player.

Overall: 9.5/10

Developer: Nitrome, Yacht Club Games

Platforms: Apple Arcade, PC (Reviewed), Switch

Genre: Action

Publisher: Yacht Club Games

Shovel Knight Dig is a 2D side-scrolling dungeon-crawler roguelite platformer. There are more that are very similar to this game which falls under the Shovel Knight series game.

The story behind the game is that you are a knight whose weapon is a shovel, and your objective is to reach the ‘meta knight’ who stole your sack of jewels. This is a single-player game that is filled with loads of fun as you progress through various levels to end up in a boss fight.

"shovelknightd1"

You go about by making your way underground, using your trusty shovel to dig out paths to collect numerous; jewels and keys, as well as beat up any monsters in your way. You collect all these jewels and come upon cash stations where you can buy/upgrade different items to help on your adventure. This game includes many more new characters, knights and enemies; it is also filled with tons of humour!

I find the default controls to be a bit hard to use. You have your hands mainly over the entire keyboard layout when you are only using three main keys. For example, when using the dig control, you have to hold down the arrow key and press J, which is a bit difficult to get a hold of right away. The good thing about the controls is that they are extremely simple, as you only press three keys: space (jump), J (dig/attack) and the arrow keys (to move around).

"shovelknightd2"

I personally love any game that is in the 16-bit style, and this game has such a vibrant bright colourful design to it. With the vibrant look, it feels as if you, too, are going on this adventure as the knight. The choice of colour, especially for the knight, makes it stand out very well. I enjoy how the gems and monsters look, not; just that but the animation for when digging as well as hitting an enemy is done really well. My personal favourite enemy hit animation would be when killing the skeleton that holds a sword, the skeleton's head; just flies off. The game would not be as good without the sound effects and the soundtrack. The animation and design of the game compliment the choice of songs the developers picked and the little trinket's noises. For example, when opening the menu of the game, you hear a little ping noise when selecting over certain options, which creates nostalgia for those who would play 16-bit games back in the day but also creates a subtle yet nice familiarity. Also, the soundtrack is so upbeat and gets you in an adventure-going mood. It is another pulse-pounding soundtrack in a new style by astonishing virtuoso Jake Kaufman!

"shovelknightd3"

I found this game to be great fun when wanting to play something you can wind down to or play after a long day. The game is not very hectic: which is great, making it a lot more inviting. Plus, once you get along to progressing; through the levels, you get a bit addicted to wanting to progress through more and more. I would end up dying multiple times, yet that wouldn’t stop me from restarting the game and playing through it again to reach the boss. What I also like about the game is that the levels; are randomly generated, meaning that no two levels are the same making the gameplay, to some extent, endless. I love the soundtrack to this game so much as it gets you going and is very amped up, making the game even more exciting to play.

"shovelknightd4"

If you want to play a game where you make your way down into the depths of the earth whilst getting wealthier and beating up a bunch of enemies in your way, then this is the game for you! Even if you have or have not played the other Shovel Knight games, you can still play this one and enjoy it equally or even more! Become a bright blue knight and use your trusty shovel to dig your way to the riches and keep unlocking further items and get closer to the end!

Overall: 8/10

Developer: You Will Get There

Platform: PC

Genre: Adventure

Publisher: You Will Get There

I have been lucky to play a whole host of beautiful indie games this year. Somber is the latest interesting indie game that; is full of intrigue and wonder. Somber isn't truly an open-world game; it's an action platformer that is hand-painted, which gives a beautifully unique art style.

"somber1"

The game makes wonderful use of lighting and 2D backgrounds to give a 3D sense to the world. Each level in the map has its own theme and lighting; you go from chamber to chamber, solving puzzles to keys, to unlock other areas in the game. You take the role of this little creature who zips across the landscape; you are a dark cloud with an eye in essence. This puffy cloud is just travelling this dark terrain, trying to help anyone in your path.

The gameplay consists of distinct rooms that are interconnected; in some instances, there are multiple entry/exit points for the rooms. Each room will have its own unique puzzle to solve, power-ups to collect and new mechanics to discover. I loved the puzzles, everything from the simple well thought puzzles to be solved; the game lends itself to this dark, mysterious world where so much is known. As you progress through levels, more of the story and what happens to unfold. The platforming elements scale in difficulty as your progress; and chain what you have learned throughout the game.

"somber2"

The graphics and presentation are wonderful; every sprite and character is stunningly animated. The world meshes the background, enemies and the player in this gloomy dark atmospheric environment that needs to be explored and enjoyed. A wonderful, sombre music score is present throughout, adding to the tension and unease of the world. It's wonderfully presented, and the sound quality is superb.

"somber3"

The 2D indie platformer puzzle game has really pushed boundaries in terms of game and level design, using layering, lighting, and sound to build a tense but wonderful environment. The game is pure fun, and I was glued to it. Playing on the Steamdeck was a bonus too. Solid gameplay and game design make for a fantastic adventure.

Overall: 8/10

The football (soccer) season is in full swing in Europe, and this means the next version of FIFA. FIFA 23 will be on the mind of footie fans throughout the world. FIFA is the quintessential football game these days; there isn't any competition at the moment. However, being the go-to football game isn't the blessing it once was, and in this iteration, it's hard to see where, improvements can be made until a rebuild takes place. As a football fan, I do; look forward to seeing what FIFA brings, but there has been a small iterative update each year as opposed to a revolution. As with any football game, people want the latest team updates for their favourite teams. This is also the last outing of the current FIFA franchise from EA, as the branding rights no longer belong to EA.

The game changer for me is the Hypermotion2 technology which gives an additional sense of realism to an already super realistic game. The player animations and visual fidelity are superb. Players seem to run more fluidly, and the interaction and jostling are even more realistic. A lot of these minor tweaks have enhanced the game. The player AI is solid, and the various levels of the challenge will give everyone something. Every level of player is catered for.

"fifa23_1"

There is a sleeker ball control mechanic and player animations, there does seem to be better team AI, and the game does have a solid flow. Players and their likenesses are captured with amazing detail. In general, game mechanics are improved, but there are no massive overhauls; the game does play better and is more responsive.

I mean, the presentation on FIFA has never been an issue, but it's been improved even more. FIFA 23 has cross-play enabled, too, so you can play with friends on the same generation of consoles, i.e. Playstation 4 can play Xbox One players and so on.

"fifa23_2"

Women's club teams have been added as well, increasing the playable teams significantly.

The usuals can be expected: the UI is polished, and the presentation is superb, every; element from icons to players has the FIFA polish. A banging soundtrack has been included.

In reality, it's difficult to feel all these elements straight off in your first few games. Online games and matchmaking are superb; the net code means finding games is easy, and there are very few issues when games are being played. I spend the majority of my time playing Seasons or Volta online, so; I would notice this.

FIFA is all about licences, and they are all there for your favourite and despised teams alike. The licences are another standout feature that means people come back to FIFA.

"fifa23_3"

FIFA is stacked with game modes such as Career Mode, Pro Clubs, Volta, Online Modes and FUT, just to mention a few of the most popular ones. I can't do them all justice in the one review, but the game is packed to the seams.

The last incarnation of FIFA, FIFA 23, is graphically stunning and brings the up-to-date rosters to everyone. The Hypermotion2 technology has brought on visual fidelity in leaps and bounds, the game; just is smoother. The game is more of a simulation football game than in previous versions.

"fifa23_4"

The addition of xG and enhanced replays is super slick and makes reliving your goals even more amazing. Cross-play is a huge bonus. Also, the introduction of women's club teams too. The game plays more like a simulation with tons of modes, including an online, career mode and ultimate team too, which will keep you more than occupied.

It's a solid send-off to the biggest football game of our generation.

We have a post from July (http://comicbuzz.com/playstation-plus-updates-what-to-look-forward-to/) that covers each of the tiers in more detail and what to expect.

I want to follow up on what I uncovered and what I have; liked about the new Playstation Plus updates. It must be noted that there are new games constantly being added each month to each tier. The premium and extra tiers have the same PS4 and PS5 catalogues of games. PS1, PS2, and PS3 games are in the premium tier. The tiers will come down to how much of the older games you want more than anything else apart from the Trial mode, which I think is well worth it.

For me, the Game Trial mode in the premium tier is an amazing feature that lets you try a complete game for a whole two hours. Realistically this gives you some confidence that you will like the game before you, or you can try a genre of game that you wouldn't have previously played. There are; a few notable games that I tried that I was interested in after playing the complete game which otherwise I have ignored. This premium feature is a game changer for me. The fidelity of the game is the modern generation and is more than worthy of a replay of this classic.

"lastofusparti_1"

The game, in general across the board, is more polished from the graphics, control, lighting and music too.

From the first scene, the game is a wonderful mix of a dark, beautiful, bleak, and mysterious world. The game is wonderfully cinematic throughout every scene and is worthy of the photo mode. Every transition from building to open area has a sense of tension, and the players become immersed in the Last of Us experience. The core gameplay is a mixture of compromises of stealth and action/shooter elements; the game allows you to choose your approach as it suits your play style. You can be all gung-ho and just go out all guns blazing. Stealth requires a more thought-out and slow approach to the game. Supplies and items are limited in the game, which enhances the core survivor elements of the game but further entrenches the player in this post-apocalyptic world. Your choice of upgrades and use of ammunition all play a vital role in your survival.

"lastofusparti_2"

The game uses the dualsense to help immerse the player even further. The haptic feedback helps to wrench the tension further by accenting and being activated during the speech by characters; it helps emphasise the delivery of lines.

A neat teach is the numerous difficulties from very easy to hardcore. Even if you aren't a veteran of these games, there is a mode to suit you. The easier mode allows the player to focus even more on the engrossing story and beautiful world with only having a limited challenge, but for those who want to experience a tough and challenging game, the option is there too.

For those who want an additional challenge, there is a permadeath mode where death will require you to replay an act, a chapter or the entire game, again depending on which setting you choose.

"lastofusparti_3"

Speedrun mode is unlocked when you complete a playthrough of the game. This allows you to track your current playtime and chapter playtime too.

The prequel chapter Left Behind is also included in this version. This chapter explores the relationship between Ellie and Riley in Boston. Another bonus to play in this stunning game and; to explore more of Ellie too.

Fidelity mode lets the game run in native 4K mode while trying to keep a consistent 30fps; this is the mode I used for a vast chunk of my playthrough. I loved seeing every detail in glorious 4K.

"lastofusparti_4"

Performance mode targets to keep the game at 60fps while scaling the resolution dynamically, which upscales to 4K, making movement and the combat even more immersive and fluid.

120Hz plus Fidelity mode is supported; on 120Hz compatible displays, this tries to hit the sweet spot between fidelity mode and performance mode, trying to retain 40fps while running native 4K.

Unlocked frame rate Performance mode is only available on a 120Hz display that uses a Variable Refresh rate to support greater than 60fps with a target of 120fps.

"lastofusparti_5"

The Last of Us Part I has a truly immersive and immense feel throughout the game. The brilliant story, cast of characters, voice acting and beautiful world make this game such; a brilliant experience. Each element of the gameplay is polished and refined; you feel a part of every action and feel a part of the game. The game intertwines an amazing, engrossing story with fantastic gameplay mechanics. The world is stunning and seems huge too. You can play in either stealth or action; the choice is yours. The game combines all elements of a blockbuster film and a stunning horror survival game that is truly engrossing and immersive.

Eastward is a pixel art 2D action RPG adventure. The game is based; around a world that is slowly decaying. You play as a digger, John, who assists a lost and mysterious girl named Sam. Through this world that is; slowly taking itself apart. A game similar to Eastward would be Little Witch In The Woods or Hyper Light Drifter. Eastward was developed by Pixpil Games and published by Chucklefish.

Eastward is a single-player game where you can go on; a wonderfully exciting adventure. The story revolves around the main character, you, playing as a digger named John, who works around a decaying world and now is accompanied by a girl named Sam. This post-apocalyptic setting sets out an adventure where you; get to come across charming characters, a thrilling story, and the power of using a frying pan to defeat enemies in your way. The opening scene of this game has an amazing; cinematic that sets the adventure you are about to go on.

"eastward1"

The controls to Eastward are very simple. Playing the game on the switch makes it accessible as if you are using a controller. Not many intricate controls are used within the game, which pretty much includes: controls like moving around, interacting with characters, and using your weapon. What is nice about the controls is that when you can interact with people or items, a little bubble with the control pad shows up to indicate you can interact with this item/person. Overall the controls are easy to play.

All the attention towards Eastward is brought upon by the art style that the game is based around. The game has a vibrant, quaint pixel-art landscape that holds such creativity. So much attention is put into the detail of the art style for this game which adds more to the atmosphere. I found myself going through everything in the area to; take a look at the close detail. I enjoy pixelated games very much, and the essence this game captures is so fun and endearing to explore. Small details throughout the game have little animations as well, like the running water or the shine of the metals. Little details bring the game to life. What is so interesting about the art style of this game is that it; is inspired by 90s Japanese animation.

"eastward2"

The soundtrack of Eastward consists of wonderful-sounding instrumental music that plays from scene to scene from transition to transition. I love how, when entering certain areas, the music changes to fit with the; theme of the area. It starts with this mellow piano music which sounds familiar to Stardew Valley’s opening to going to a jazz, funk kind of beat. The music in the game adds more life and compliments the visuals so well. Even the sound effects over the top of the music, like shutting the door and the footsteps makes, the game so much more enticing to play. I love the sound effect of the text bubble when interacting with characters, as it has that reminiscing typewriter sound to it which matches so well with the font of the dialogue. The soundtrack for this game is so immersive, and because of the amazing visuals, it compliments one another, making it so that the world of Eastward; is filled with adventure.

My opinion of this game is; extremely positive. I found this game to be so investing and to be; one that I can come to when wanting to wind down. With the visuals, the sound, and the story, it truly is an adventure; that is full of fun. The story itself is also so intriguing as you can unravel it while exploring the world of Eastward. I also really; enjoyed how you can play both John and Sam to be able to solve various puzzles. The selection of weapons that you have handy makes the fighting even more exciting. What I like about how you can switch between the characters is that either character can be helpful when exploring. For instance, Sam is shorter than John, so she can fit through logs that are too small for John.

"eastward3"

The boss fights in this game are so unique from one another; each boss plays differently and has a theme to itself. The boss battles are what allow you to get an understanding of what you need to upgrade. I enjoy the combat in this game as the progression of each boss battle allows for; the player to get better at using both Sam and John as well as fighting mini monsters on the way to upgrade your items. I find the frying pan; to be my favourite weapon choice, but John comes in handy with loads more. Playing with the weapons isn't difficult, and it is fun to be able to whack objects or set them on fire. You can upgrade your health and weapon damage by meeting this guy in the central town. As you progress through the story, you collect more currency which allows you to buy new weapons; that you can add to your collection.

I find the difficulty of the puzzles to also be well balanced, not making you shoot completely in the dark. I found Daniel and William to be interesting characters in the game, and the railway location reminded me of something from a Studio Ghibli movie. Another thing I love about the gameplay is how there is a little mix of everything in the game; you can cook food by putting ingredients together. The one scene where Sam and John drive a car in the water was something I did not expect. What is also so helpful about this game is the objectives menu, the map and other things that help you on your journey. I found this RPG to be so charming and took up so much of my time as it got me invested in wanting to uncover the story. Travel the world, and upgrade the character; to be able to progress further. I also love how you can play a game within this game. The attention to detail is just outstanding.

"eastward4"

If; you want to play a game where you get to explore a post-apocalyptic world through the travels of a digger and his sidekick. Then make your way and start; your adventure with this captivating, beautiful, outstanding work of art. This game captures a true essence of a pixelated-RPG game that is so fun to play and in some way relaxing even with all the monster fighting. So, if you want to indulge in this whimsical adventure, then go check out Eastward!

Tiny Football is a throwback to old-school top-down football games from the '90s. The pixelated goodness of that era is also back in full force. This; is an early-access game which is available to buy and is being patched all the time; that being said, the overall game is solid and has lots of fun but let's delve a bit deeper.

The game is a football, with two teams on a pitch with a referee, some assistants and an audience; the vintage pixel graphics set the scene. The gameplay uses one button, the d-pad (analogue stick or keyboard), and the one button allows you to determine the power of your pass, cross or shot.

"tinyfootball2"

It's simple and beautiful; the beautiful game in this stripped-back version is a real break from modern games. Some things that stick out from the original retro football games are the power bar and offside. The gameplay is solid and easy to get to grips with; this one button for the pass, shoot and cross is great.

There are a ton of modes, from simple friendly to the league championship cups like the world cup and European cup, too so; you can play a format that is as long as you desire.

"tinyfootball3"

The players have a very similar name to; real players, and you can play a variety of international teams and club teams from a choice of leagues around the world. I also love that you can just play a game of penalties! There is an editor mode where you can edit and club strips and player names too. There is a local two-player but no online play, which would be nice to have. The only gripe I had is when I got a player sent off, I couldn't swap a player in my on-field team to the position vacated by the sent-off player.

The gameplay is a real throwback; the game focuses on the gameplay. The game is based; in a science fiction world with all sorts of wacky elements. This game is; not suitable for children as there is a lot of explicit language and disturbing images. A game similar to High on Life would be Trevor Saves the Universe. The game was created by Justin Roiland and developed and published by Squanch Games. Justin Roiland is also a well-known voice actor; co-creator of the Adult Swim show Rick and Morty. This review of this game is based on the PC version.

High on Life is a single-player game involving an experience like no other. The story revolves around the main character’s planet being invaded by aliens. You receive a talking alien gun that warps you to a planet in space, where you start your journey to take down the G3 Cartel from turning your people into drugs. The talking alien gun assists you on your journey as the new bounty hunter of Blim. You take upon various G3 Cartel bosses and explore the vastness of space on your journey.

"highonlife1"

The controls to High on Life are relatively easy to work with. The keyboard and mouse binds are extremely easy to work with. You use the mouse as a gun shooter, and the keyboard has other controls such as walking, interaction, and scanner. What is nice about the controls for this game is that on your SuitOS, the controls are present on the bottom left of the screen. The comedic element of the dialogue makes it much better as the operating bot of the SuitOS itself says that he can not tell you the control to use as he does not know which device you are playing the game on. Overall the controls of the game are easy to play with, and with the rush of shooting enemies, dodging and using all sorts of manoeuvres; the control map is great at its default.

The art style of High on Life is much reminiscent of the show Rick and Morty. Except the game is a lot more vibrant and more; graphic with all the different elements in the game. The art style is a mix of both; quirky and zany which fits with the alien theme of the game. It also has some resemblance to; a comic-like, cartoony feel which is outdone. It seems like an animated show in itself, where you are the main character of it. Everything about the areas has such great detail put into them. The buildings of the main space city you are placed in have billboards, trash, and various components that all look realistic in a cartoonish way. In addition to the characters, the styles of the characters are so odd, but they are odd with their own unique; character. For instance, the head of the G3 Cartel looks like a blob and has a slimy texture to it. It honestly reminds me of Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars. Also, the personalities that the art style brings out in the characters are fascinating. Take the different guns that you equip throughout your journey, each one of them with their silly little designs from goofy eyes; to a big smile, all bringing out their personality of them. With the art style comes great sound effects and voice acting done by the voice actors.

"highonlife2"

The soundtrack of High on Life mainly consists of synth, electro beat music which has a futuristic feel to it. For instance, the music in the lobby is similar to synth-pop. Another interesting part of the soundtrack would be the battle music the battle; music is a great amped-up futuristic rhythm which indicates when there are enemies. It has such a satisfying pop sound to it. The sound effects for the different guns and each having its distinction adds; great variety to the game. With the music, the game comes with sound effects that are also so realistic. I love the pop eyeball sound when you use your knife on one of the one-eyeballed G3 aliens. The most outstanding part of this game, though, would have to be the voice acting. The voice acting of High on Life makes the game ten times much better, especially with the dialogues and script written for the characters. It’s a pile of jokes on jokes where either other characters are being insulted or; you are being insulted for pausing the game. Not just that but some of the characters have voice actors that I am very familiar with and add such personality to the game.

"highonlife3"

My opinion towards this game is; extremely positive. This game captures a real science fiction shooter with great comedy to it. I found playing this game for hours on end once I had started it. There is so much fun that comes from it, as you have the opportunity to carry on with the story but also can explore the open world. The game has so many little things that I loved, which adds great character to it. What I like is that besides the main story, there are these little shorts and animations throughout the gameplay. Like Gene is in your house, he starts watching this dinosaur, movie, or a channel called “Human TV”, and sometimes I find myself watching the TV with Gene rather than continuing with the story. I also enjoy the achievements you can get throughout the gameplay, some of the achievements; are too good not to get. This game is full of great fun and nothing but hilarious.

If; you want to play a game where you go around shooting a bunch of aliens with no ordinary guns; but rather talking guns that definitely can not keep their mouths shut. Then make your way as the new renowned bounty hunter and explore what space has to offer you. This game comes with a great storyline, amazing and out-of-this-world dialogue and nothing better than a great game design; that has a little bit of everything! You control a ship that must pick up containers and deposit them to progress through dynamically generated levels. The premise, while simple, is difficult to achieve! You control this little yellow ship as it zips through various levels; you dodge, dive and use special powers to navigate through; this post-apocalyptic world. It's on purpose that you know very little, there is no real; narration of what is going on, and it's a journey of exploration. You just navigate areas where you figure out the path by trial and error; you must figure it out all with little to no hints.

It really enhances the Playstation Plus experience. There is a limited amount of trial games at the moment. Oh, and you get to keep trophy progress, too, from the trial.

"psplus"

I have found a significant improvement in the Cloud Streaming, and whilst it's not 100% perfect. It's much improved from the initial release in June, though not every game is available for Cloud Streaming. I do; like this feature as it's a save on hard drive space if you haven't extended the PS5 hard drive capacity.

Months later, I'm still really impressed by the huge; catalogue of games. Each month new games get added to all versions of Playstation games that will satisfy retro gamers as well as current gamers. The offerings of amazing games throughout the years are stunning. You follow the beautiful and bleak tale of Joel and Ellie as they traverse America in a post-apocalyptic and zombie world. The player explores; a host of amazing areas that provide a wonderful backdrop to an amazing; and enthralling story.

The PS5 version of the The Last of Us Part I is a rebuild of the classic. I have played; the original Last of Us a long time ago. The new updated and rebuilt version brings this amazing action-packed game into the present and truly, uses the power of the PS5 to enhance every detail of the game.
