Eastward is a pixel art 2D action RPG adventure. The game is based; around a world that is slowly decaying. You play as a digger, John, who assists a lost and mysterious girl named Sam. Through this world that is; slowly taking itself apart. A game similar to Eastward would be Little Witch In The Woods or Hyper Light Drifter. Eastward was developed by Pixpil Games and published by Chucklefish.

Eastward is a single-player game where you can go on; a wonderfully exciting adventure. The story revolves around the main character, you, playing as a digger named John, who works around a decaying world and now is accompanied by a girl named Sam. This post-apocalyptic setting sets out an adventure where you; get to come across charming characters, a thrilling story, and the power of using a frying pan to defeat enemies in your way. The opening scene of this game has an amazing; cinematic that sets the adventure you are about to go on.

"eastward1"

The controls to Eastward are very simple. Playing the game on the switch makes it accessible as if you are using a controller. Not many intricate controls are used within the game, which pretty much includes: controls like moving around, interacting with characters, and using your weapon. What is nice about the controls is that when you can interact with people or items, a little bubble with the control pad shows up to indicate you can interact with this item/person. Overall the controls are easy to play.

All the attention towards Eastward is brought upon by the art style that the game is based around. The game has a vibrant, quaint pixel-art landscape that holds such creativity. So much attention is put into the detail of the art style for this game which adds more to the atmosphere. I found myself going through everything in the area to; take a look at the close detail. I enjoy pixelated games very much, and the essence this game captures is so fun and endearing to explore. Small details throughout the game have little animations as well, like the running water or the shine of the metals. Little details bring the game to life. What is so interesting about the art style of this game is that it; is inspired by 90s Japanese animation.

"eastward2"

The soundtrack of Eastward consists of wonderful-sounding instrumental music that plays from scene to scene from transition to transition. I love how, when entering certain areas, the music changes to fit with the; theme of the area. It starts with this mellow piano music which sounds familiar to Stardew Valley’s opening to going to a jazz, funk kind of beat. The music in the game adds more life and compliments the visuals so well. Even the sound effects over the top of the music, like shutting the door and the footsteps makes, the game so much more enticing to play. I love the sound effect of the text bubble when interacting with characters, as it has that reminiscing typewriter sound to it which matches so well with the font of the dialogue. The soundtrack for this game is so immersive, and because of the amazing visuals, it compliments one another, making it so that the world of Eastward; is filled with adventure.

My opinion of this game is; extremely positive. I found this game to be so investing and to be; one that I can come to when wanting to wind down. With the visuals, the sound, and the story, it truly is an adventure; that is full of fun. The story itself is also so intriguing as you can unravel it while exploring the world of Eastward. I also really; enjoyed how you can play both John and Sam to be able to solve various puzzles. The selection of weapons that you have handy makes the fighting even more exciting. What I like about how you can switch between the characters is that either character can be helpful when exploring. For instance, Sam is shorter than John, so she can fit through logs that are too small for John.

"eastward3"

The boss fights in this game are so unique from one another; each boss plays differently and has a theme to itself. The boss battles are what allow you to get an understanding of what you need to upgrade. I enjoy the combat in this game as the progression of each boss battle allows for; the player to get better at using both Sam and John as well as fighting mini monsters on the way to upgrade your items. I find the frying pan; to be my favourite weapon choice, but John comes in handy with loads more. Playing with the weapons isn't difficult, and it is fun to be able to whack objects or set them on fire. You can upgrade your health and weapon damage by meeting this guy in the central town. As you progress through the story, you collect more currency which allows you to buy new weapons; that you can add to your collection.

I find the difficulty of the puzzles to also be well balanced, not making you shoot completely in the dark. I found Daniel and William to be interesting characters in the game, and the railway location reminded me of something from a Studio Ghibli movie. Another thing I love about the gameplay is how there is a little mix of everything in the game; you can cook food by putting ingredients together. The one scene where Sam and John drive a car in the water was something I did not expect. What is also so helpful about this game is the objectives menu, the map and other things that help you on your journey. I found this RPG to be so charming and took up so much of my time as it got me invested in wanting to uncover the story. Travel the world, and upgrade the character; to be able to progress further. I also love how you can play a game within this game. The attention to detail is just outstanding.

"eastward4"

If; you want to play a game where you get to explore a post-apocalyptic world through the travels of a digger and his sidekick. Then make your way and start; your adventure with this captivating, beautiful, outstanding work of art. This game captures a true essence of a pixelated-RPG game that is so fun to play and in some way relaxing even with all the monster fighting. So, if you want to indulge in this whimsical adventure, then go check out Eastward!

The generous people at Philips sent us the Philips TAG5106 headset for review. The TAG5106 headset has been designed to elevate the sound of games. This all-new-premium gaming headset has high sound performance and advanced wireless technologies for the best comfort for gamers. This headset is constructed from lightweight material to give ideal comfort to gamers. The TAG5106 headset sells at the price of €85.99.

The packaging for this headset is very slick and professional. The box is relatively big with many contents inside. The box; of this headset comes with a greatly enlarged image of the headset on the front. Some of the main features are written at the front, which includes: Design Award 2022, DTS Headphone, LED Lighting and wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. All the other specifications of the headset; are written on the back of the box. Underneath the box, there is more information on the headset as well. The box; includes the following items: a gaming headset, a USB dongle (USB wireless adapter), a detachable microphone, a 3.5mm audio cable, a USB charging cable, a Quick start guide, and a warranty booklet.

As for the design of the TAG5106, we find the design to be very; quite interesting, with its simplicity to it. The headset does not have much of a colour palette; it's mainly black with half slits of silver on the ear. The colour of the headset is nice because it's something that does not stand out as much, which allows for greater use rather than just in a gaming setup. This headset is pretty comfortable, but when kept on for too long can become irritating to the ear. As this is a wireless headset, rather than having padding under the top of the headband, there is a slightly padded stretchable band that cups the head nicely. The design of the ear part has a thin line between the black and silver halves where the LED light is. The LED light has three different colours you can choose from: red, green and blue. There is also a breathing option for the LED lights, which cycles through all three; of the colours. The specifications for this headset are the following: Frequency response is 20 - 20,000 Hz, DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound, sensitivity is 101 dB, maximum power input is 20 mW, speaker diameter is 50 mm, impedance is 32 Ohm, and 2.4 G and Bluetooth 5.2 dual wireless system.

"philipstag5106"

This headset has a really good sound quality to it. A range of games was played to see how well the sound comes across with a variety of tunes and noises. We played games like High on Life, Valorant, Fortnite, Slime Rancher 2 and a couple of others. For the heavy FPS type of games like High on Life, Valorant and Fortnite, there was really good precision to the sound of the shots and was clear as well as loud. The sound passes from ear to ear as the earpads cup well around the ear. This allows for the sound to travel well. The sound is extremely clear with no delay. For FPS games specifically, a great chaotic atmosphere is created from the accurate loud gunshots to the discreet and quiet footsteps of the enemy team. For casual gaming, the sound is very pleasant. The sound comes across as so welcoming and nice to the ears for the very casual games.

This headset comes with a volume scroll on the left ear. The volume scroll is extremely convenient when playing. Something a bit annoying is the volume scroll can interfere with the volume on your laptop. Changing the volume directly from the laptop can sometimes mess with the overall volume change on the headset itself. The good thing about the volume control on this headset is that every sound at a low volume is still very clear. The volume being put at a relatively high setting creates a noise-cancelling effect which muffles out; sound from the outside.

The headset is also supported by software that can be downloaded from the Philips support website. Trying to find the application was difficult as well. The application is called Precision Center, and from there, once the headset is connected to the laptop, the DTS software is downloaded. The installation process takes a while, and on top of that, it installs another software. In all honesty, this seems like much of a hassle for an enhancement, especially when the headset on its own is very good.

"philipstag5106_2"

As for the hub of the software, it's very easy to work with. There are four options that you can choose from with sub-options as well. Surround Sound Mode; comes with three options which include; sports, games and entertainment. Another option is Enhanced Stereo Preference which comes with four options off, front, wide and traditional. Then there is also a bass enhancement and a dialogue enhancement. We messed around with the different settings to see if there was much of an enhancement to the sound. We did not end up finding much of a difference in the sound quality; it mainly seemed like the volume was louder than usual. We would not recommend delving into the enhancement app because even without the enhancement app, the headset has great sound for any type of use.

This headset comes with a detachable unidirectional mic. The mic can be adjusted very slightly back and forth. There is not much adjustability you can do to it compared to a bendable mic. The headset has a button on the left ear that you can press to mute yourself and press it again to unmute yourself. This is very convenient, as mute keybinds are always necessary for gaming. The mute button is directly on the headset makes this a lot easier to access. The overall quality of the mic is really good, as there is clarity to the voice and no noticeable delay. The voice; picked up from this mic is very clean and crisp. What we like about this mic is that the mic does not pick up on sound from far away. And another thing is that when breathing, the mic does not pick that up either, which is good as it can irritate people listening to you.

This headset is compatible with PC/Mac/Playstation/Xbox/Switch/Mobile; it's pretty much compatible with everything, and now it is designed to be a gaming headset, but this headset can be used as a headset for pretty much anything. The Bluetooth and wireless duality allow for the headset to be used; as a headset, you can go out with to listen to music. Now we use this headset for more than just gaming, like listening to music, watching Netflix/youtube, and calling friends. Because of the good; cupping of the earpads, the sound is enclosed, which is; great for watching movies or shows. Not just that but; listening to music is also so good because you can hear the melody and different instruments with stunning sounds to them. This headset can be used for hours on end but has slight discomfort to it after a couple of hours. Though these headsets can be used for pretty much anything, you can go out with them as well!

"philipstag5106_3"

To charge the headset, you use the USB charging cable and plug it into the headset directly to charge. The headset takes about 7 hours; to completely charge. There is a light indicator on the headset that is red, and when the light turns off, it indicates the headset is completely charged. After the headset is completely charged, you can connect your headset in three different ways. The first way is to use the headset through the 3.5mm cable. This makes the headset wired, but we find that the sound is a lot more amped through the wired connection. The wired connection can be connected to the phone, PC, Mac, and switch. The second way to connect your headset is through the USB dongle. Just turn on the headset, and there will be a ping noise that; will indicate connecting to the device. The USB dongle also has a light indication that goes from blinking white to solid white when connected. The third way to connect the headset is. We ran a test to see how long the headset’s battery life lasts, and the headset lasts 41 hours and 48 minutes in total without any charging in; between. Now keeping; the LED light on at all times or turning it off can change the total charge of the headset to be low or higher. The battery life on this headset is extremely good, and the charging can be left overnight, so it's prepared in the morning.

The wireless connectivity distance for the headset is pretty decent, which means; that you cannot, for instance, walk more than 12.5 feet away from your laptop without the headset disconnecting. For Bluetooth connectivity, the disconnection distance is a bit more than the wireless connectivity and goes up to about 20 feet.

What this means is it's not best to walk around the house with this headset in while listening to music or calling your friends. The headset is mainly just for you to sit in front of your laptop or console and play with it.

Many people may know of the company Nacon, and recently they released; a wireless gaming headset of their own. So, let’s compare the RIG 800 Pro gaming headset, which sells for €199.99 compared, to the Philips TAG5106 headset, which sells for €85.99.

"phlipstag5106_4"

When comparing the mic, both mics are pretty good. Both headsets have very similar mic quality, except the RIG 800 Pro picks up a lot more sound and has a mic control feature on them. As for the style of the microphones, the RIG 800 Pro has a bendable mic boom, whereas the; TAG5106 headset has a detachable unidirectional mic. The mic for the RIG 800 Pro personally is preferred more as there is more adjustability to it than the mic on the TAG510 headset. But what is good about the TAG5106 is that you can just remove the mic when not needed.

Both of these headsets are wireless, but the TAG5106 has a greater compatibility range due to its three ways of connection. The battery life on the TAG5106 is roughly 42 hours, but it can go up to about 45 hours if not using the LED lights. The battery life on the RIG 800 Pro headset is about 30 hours. This also means that the battery life is much better on the TAG5106 headset.

When comparing the sound quality between the TAG5106 and the RIG 800 Pro, there is a major price difference, but the sound is fairly good on both headsets. Through some comparison tests, we would say that both the headsets sound very similar, and both create a noise-cancellation atmosphere. The RIG 800 Pro does have an equaliser that can be messed around with and the Dolby Atmos feature, but even without those; features, the two headsets have equally good sound quality to them. Both headsets have clear bass; melodic sound to them, as well as are very tuneful.

As for the overall comfort of both headsets, the RIG 800 Pro is more comfortable than the Philips TAG5106. The padding on the TAG5106 and RIG 800 Pro is very similar in feeling, but the TAG5106 is a little bit tougher than the RIG 800 Pro. The TAG5106 headset is also made with a different type of material compared to the RIG 800 Pro. There is a bit more weight to the TAG5106 than the RIG 800 Pro. RIG 800 Pro is more comfortable and lightweight than the TAG5106. Also, the RIG 800 Pro has some; sort of adjustability, whereas the TAG5106 has zero adjustability to it.

"phlipstag5106_5"

Even with the major; price difference, the TAG5106, for its; cheaper price, has features that are worth it. The reason there is a jump of €100 is that the RIG 800 Pro has a charging station to it and has compatibility with Dolby Atmos. Even with the TAG5106 not having those; specific features, it offers better features for a less-expensive price. For quality and compatibility, it is truly worth buying.

With the headset, we believe; that everything to it is pretty good except for there not being any form of adjustability. If some sort of adjustability to the headset was added, it; may make them a lot more comfortable to keep on for hours on end; without feeling discomfort. Another thing would be to change the mic to an actual bendable one rather than having a unidirectional one if it is already detachable. Other than these two suggestions, the overall headset is well-designed.

The Phillips TAG5106 gaming headset has a simple build with an enticing sound that can create an atmosphere from the comfort of your ears. The range of compatibility and connection allows you to use the headset on multiple devices and to use them for more than just gaming. With its compatibility with Dolby Atmos, the more stunning and customizable sound is presented to you with great ease. This gaming headset has a detachable mic and LED lights that add more character to the simple design. For the price of; €85.99, these headsets are truly worth it as they can create great immersive gaming, watching, and listening experiences like no other. If you want an effective, comfortable wireless headset with appreciable sound quality, then definitely go check out the TAG5106 Gaming Headset!

Overall: 8.5/10

Developer: Squanch Games, Inc.

Platforms: PC (Reviewed), Xbox Box One, Xbox Series X |S

Genre: Action, Adventure

Publisher: Squanch Games, Inc.

High on Life is an action-adventure comedic first-person shooter game. The game is based; in a science fiction world with all sorts of wacky elements. This game is; not suitable for children as there is a lot of explicit language and disturbing images. A game similar to High on Life would be Trevor Saves the Universe. The game was created by Justin Roiland and developed and published by Squanch Games. Justin Roiland is also a well-known voice actor; co-creator of the Adult Swim show Rick and Morty. This review of this game is based on the PC version.

High on Life is a single-player game involving an experience like no other. The story revolves around the main character’s planet being invaded by aliens. You receive a talking alien gun that warps you to a planet in space, where you start your journey to take down the G3 Cartel from turning your people into drugs. The talking alien gun assists you on your journey as the new bounty hunter of Blim. You take upon various G3 Cartel bosses and explore the vastness of space on your journey.

"highonlife1"

The controls to High on Life are relatively easy to work with. The keyboard and mouse binds are extremely easy to work with. You use the mouse as a gun shooter, and the keyboard has other controls such as walking, interaction, and scanner. What is nice about the controls for this game is that on your SuitOS, the controls are present on the bottom left of the screen. The comedic element of the dialogue makes it much better as the operating bot of the SuitOS itself says that he can not tell you the control to use as he does not know which device you are playing the game on. Overall the controls of the game are easy to play with, and with the rush of shooting enemies, dodging and using all sorts of manoeuvres; the control map is great at its default.

The art style of High on Life is much reminiscent of the show Rick and Morty. Except the game is a lot more vibrant and more; graphic with all the different elements in the game. The art style is a mix of both; quirky and zany which fits with the alien theme of the game. It also has some resemblance to; a comic-like, cartoony feel which is outdone. It seems like an animated show in itself, where you are the main character of it. Everything about the areas has such great detail put into them. The buildings of the main space city you are placed in have billboards, trash, and various components that all look realistic in a cartoonish way. In addition to the characters, the styles of the characters are so odd, but they are odd with their own unique; character. For instance, the head of the G3 Cartel looks like a blob and has a slimy texture to it. It honestly reminds me of Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars. Also, the personalities that the art style brings out in the characters are fascinating. Take the different guns that you equip throughout your journey, each one of them with their silly little designs from goofy eyes; to a big smile, all bringing out their personality of them. With the art style comes great sound effects and voice acting done by the voice actors.

"highonlife2"

The soundtrack of High on Life mainly consists of synth, electro beat music which has a futuristic feel to it. For instance, the music in the lobby is similar to synth-pop. Another interesting part of the soundtrack would be the battle music the battle; music is a great amped-up futuristic rhythm which indicates when there are enemies. It has such a satisfying pop sound to it. The sound effects for the different guns and each having its distinction adds; great variety to the game. With the music, the game comes with sound effects that are also so realistic. I love the pop eyeball sound when you use your knife on one of the one-eyeballed G3 aliens. The most outstanding part of this game, though, would have to be the voice acting. The voice acting of High on Life makes the game ten times much better, especially with the dialogues and script written for the characters. It’s a pile of jokes on jokes where either other characters are being insulted or; you are being insulted for pausing the game. Not just that but some of the characters have voice actors that I am very familiar with and add such personality to the game.

"highonlife3"

My opinion towards this game is; extremely positive. This game captures a real science fiction shooter with great comedy to it. I found playing this game for hours on end once I had started it. There is so much fun that comes from it, as you have the opportunity to carry on with the story but also can explore the open world. The game has so many little things that I loved, which adds great character to it. What I like is that besides the main story, there are these little shorts and animations throughout the gameplay. Like Gene is in your house, he starts watching this dinosaur, movie, or a channel called “Human TV”, and sometimes I find myself watching the TV with Gene rather than continuing with the story. I also enjoy the achievements you can get throughout the gameplay, some of the achievements; are too good not to get. This game is full of great fun and nothing but hilarious.

If; you want to play a game where you go around shooting a bunch of aliens with no ordinary guns; but rather talking guns that definitely can not keep their mouths shut. Then make your way as the new renowned bounty hunter and explore what space has to offer you. This game comes with a great storyline, amazing and out-of-this-world dialogue and nothing better than a great game design; that has a little bit of everything! If you want to indulge in endless shooting; and fun, then go check out High on Life!

Overall: 9/10

RIG 800 Pro is part of the new “Pro Series” of gaming headsets from RIG Gaming. The wonderful people at RIG Gaming sent us the RIG 800 Pro HD (PC version) for review. RIG Pro has been designed to offer gamers unrivalled audio performance when they play. This headset is constructed from flexible, lightweight materials to bring the best comfort to gamers while they play for hours on end. This specific model sells at the price of €199.99, with its other models ranging from €29.99 - €199.99.

The packaging for this headset is very professional. It is a very bulky box as the contents inside are relatively big. The box of this headset comes with a great; overview of the headset in the front. It shows the main features of the headset, this being wireless, the 24-hour battery/charging stand as well as Dolby Atmos compatibility. All the other specifications of the headset are written on the back of the box in 8 different languages. The back clearly labels the different features and parts of the headset this; breakdown acts like a map of the headset. The box includes the following items: the RIG 800 Pro headset, charging stand, USB wireless adapter, USB-A to USB C cable, RIG/Nacon stickers, safety instructions guide, Dolby Atmos guide, a quick start guide and a warranty.

As for the design of the RIG 800 Pro, we find the design to be very clean yet simple, to an extent. The headset does not have much of a colour palette; it's mainly black and grey with slight hints of orange. Though the colour combo goes well with the build of this headset, the look of the headset is like a gear or mechanical type part. This headset is extremely comfortable, and even though it looks like; it may be heavy on the head, it's especially light and flexible. As this is a wireless headset, rather than having padding under the top; headband, there is a slightly padded stretchable band that cups the head nicely. A nice addition to this headset is that you can also adjust the height of the headset (there are three levels the headset can be adjusted to). In addition, the ear padding on this headset has a nice feel to the ear. It feels smooth and soft with some cushion press to it; the padding cups the ears really well and keeps the sound all in. The specifications for this headset are the following: the frequency response is 20 Hz - 20 kHz, the drivers are 2 x Dynamic 40 mm with Matched Bass Tubes for 3D audio, its lag-free is 2.4 GHZ Digital RF, there is an 1800 mAh Battery, the sensitivity is -45 dBV/Pa and the signal to noise ratio is >42 dB, impedance 32ohms, sensitivity 111 dBSPL/V and weigh 308 grams.

This headset has amazing sound quality to it. A range of games was played to see how well this headset sounds with various atmospheric noises and tunes. We played games like Stardew Valley, Slime Rancher, Valorant, Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox and a couple of others. Now for the more heavy games, very FPS heavy-focused games like Valorant, Overwatch 2, and Fortnite, there is really good clarity, and then there is this ‘submersivness’ (as if you are being submerged into the sound) feeling that's is created when you are playing heavy action games. The sound coming through the headset creates an overall chaotic atmosphere, from the loud gunshots to the quiet footsteps of the enemy team. For very casual gaming, the sound is so pleasant and welcoming. Everything can be heard with stunning detail and turns out, into a wonderful; gaming experience just because of the sound.

"RIG800PROHD"

This headset also comes with a volume scroll on the left ear which can be used to; adjust how loud you want to hear the game. The volume scroll is extremely convenient when playing. What's good about this headset is that even at a low volume, the sound from the outside is muffled out well. This adds that noise cancellation effect to the headset, and with the great comfort of the padded ears, it creates this amazing; gaming experience. The headset has compatibility with Dolby Atmos but also is compatible with Nahimic on the Legion Lenovo laptop, which optimises the headset to give its best sound.

As said earlier, this headset is compatible with Dolby Atmos. To be able to enhance the performance of this headset, you need to download the app called Dolby Access; on the Microsoft store. Then connect your device to activate Dolby Atmos for the headphones. The Dolby Access menu is very easy to work around, so there is not much confusion when trying it out for the first time; this makes it more accessible to people. First off, we tested the audio with the Dolby demo content to see if there is any significant difference we notice in the sound. We started by watching Nature's Fury, and as the video started, it felt like we were sitting in the cinema. The audio compatibility with Dolby transcends sound to another level. It travels the sound from ear to ear and even goes around you. The headset creates a surround sound system in your ear and has stunning, mesmerising sound. Not just this, but afterwards, we tested out; the settings for the headset, which is the equaliser. The headset comes with four pre-set settings: game, movie, music, and voice, and comes with; three custom slots. We ran through using each one of these pre-set settings to see how well Dolby adds to the experience, and it made a huge difference.

For the music pre-set, there is more emphasis; added to the instruments, which create a rich and alluring sound that bounces from one ear to another. The movie pre-set is probably my favourite setting, as it creates an at-home movie theatre feel where it feels like; you are hearing the sound in 4DX. For the music pre-set, there is more emphasis; added to the instruments, which create a rich and alluring sound that bounces from one ear to another. The voice pre-set did not seem to have much change to it, yet it still; had good sound coming. Truly every single sound that travels through this headset is so well-detailed.

"RIG800PROHD_1jpg"

This headset comes with an attached bendable mic that can; be lifted up and down. A very convenient feature that the mic has; is automatically muting yourself when the mic is lifted and then unmuting your mic when the mic is brought down to the mouth. The flip-to-mute mic boom works extremely well with this headset as it adds more consistency and is convenient for players as they would not need to mess with too many keybinds to mute/unmute themselves when in a game. Using the flip-to-mute mic boom, there also is; a sound indication to help let you know if you are muted/unmuted as well. Another great thing the headset comes with is a mic control scroll on the left ear of the headset. This; allows for the headset to either pick up everything, every audio coming through the mic or to keep it so only your voice; is picked up. We find the mic control to be very useful, especially when someone on the other call hears your background noise which you do not want to be picked up; the mic control can help adjust that level. The overall quality of the mic is amazing, the voice is picked up clearly, and there is no noticeable delay. The mic also has great adjustability itself, as you can move it closer to the mouth or farther. Your voice picked up from this mic is crisp and clean. The only issue that the mic has is that when the mic control is near the max volume when breathing close to the mic, there is a bit of feedback, but besides that, the mic is just what you would want. Truly acts like a mic on its own.

This headset is mainly designed; for gaming, but we also used this headset to listen to music, watch Netflix or youtube, or even be on call with friends. Due to the design of this headset and the outstanding comforts, the sound encloses and is amazing for when watching movies/shows or videos. The headset has a great sound; to it and really can be used for whatever you want to do, that too over an extensive period without feeling any discomfort. This headset can be used for hours of gaming or watching without any discomfort; you can go about playing with these headsets on without hardly; knowing they are there.

Now there are a couple of ways you can charge the headset. You can charge the headset while it sits on the base station or charges them directly through the headset. Both the headset and the base station have ports that can be used to charge. The headset takes about 7 hours and 30 minutes; to completely charge. There is a light indicator on the base station itself, which, when turned off, means the headset is completely charged. After the headset; is completely charged, you can plug the USB wireless adapter straight into your PC, Mac, PS5, or PS4, and the headset will connect automatically. Because of the direct USB wireless adapter, there is no need for Bluetooth connectivity and allows for great connectivity. There is also a little light on the USB to indicate if the headset is connected if it is, it changes from red to purple. We ran a test to see how long the headset’s battery life lasts, and the headset lasts 29 hours and 46 minutes in total without any charging in between. The headset is to last up to about 24 hours, as said, but an additional 6 hours makes such a difference. The battery life on this headset is exceptional, but also the charging is so readily available as you can just place your headset onto the base station to charge. The headset also has little sound effects, where you are warned when the battery is low, high, or medium through a woman's voice.

"RIG800PROHD_3"

The wireless connectivity distance for the headset is not as great. This means; that you cannot, for instance, walk more than 12.5 feet away from your laptop without the woman’s voice on the headset repeatedly saying ‘not connected’. What this means is; it's not best to walk around the house with this headset while listening to music or calling your friends. The headset is mainly just for you to sit in front of your laptop or console and play with it.

Many people may know of the company Skullcandy, and recently they released a gaming headset series of their own. So, let’s compare the SLYR Pro (Multi-Platform wired gaming headset) that sells for the price of €99.99 to the RIG 800 Pro gaming headset that sells for €199.99. There is a PLYR wireless gaming headset by Skullcandy, which sells for €139.99, and this headset is mainly like the SLYR Pro but is wireless.

When comparing the mic, both mics are pretty good. For the SLYR Pro, the mic quality is really and is very similar to the mic quality of the RIG 800 Pro. The RIG 800 Pro has more options to be able to control the level of your mic than the SLYR Pro headset. Personally, a bendable mic boom (which the RIG 800 Pro has) is more beneficial to us than a removable mic boom (which the SLYR Pro has) as it gives more leniency to how someone wants to adjust their mic.

The SLYR Pro are not wireless, but they require a charge to use the equaliser feature to better optimise the sound when gaming. The battery life on the SLYR Pro is 26 hours, except you can still use the headset through the wire. Whereas for the RIG 800 Pro headset, the battery life lasts up to about 30 hours though charging the RIG 800 Pro can be more consistent with its base station.

When comparing the sound quality between the SLYR Pro and the RIG 800 Pro, there is a price difference, but the sound is fair; good on both headsets. Through some comparison tests, I would say that the RIG 800 Pro is better at isolating outside sound and has more clarity. Also, with the compatibility of Dolby Atmos, the sound quality enhances a bit more than its normal sound, which can be heard through more detailed noise that creates an immersive gaming experience that the SLYR Pro does not entirely do. Both of the headsets pick up bass better, and neither has any distortion in the sound. The RIG 800 Pro has a more melodic sound to them. Both of the headsets are tuneful, which gives out good clarity on both.

"RIG800PROHD_4"

As for the overall comfort of both headsets, the RIG 800 Pro is more comfortable than the SLYR Pro. The padding on the SLYR Pro and RIG 800 Pro are very similar in feeling and seem; to be made of the same material. The SLYR Pro headset is also made with a different type of material compared to the RIG 800 Pro. There is a bit more weight to the SLYR Pro than the RIG 800 Pro. RIG 800 Pro is more comfortable with its bulky look as it rests lightweight on the head. We would say that the SLYR Pro has better height adjustability than the RIG 800 Pro, as you can stretch the headset out, whereas you have to lock the RIG 800 Pro into ‘sockets’.

Even with the major; price difference, the RIG 800 Pro, in the end, turned out to be very worth it. The reason there is a jump of €100 is that the RIG 800 Pro is wireless, comes with a charging station, and has compatibility with Dolby. These additions and slight differences from the SLYR Pro do make the RIG 800 Pro worth it. The RIG 800 Pro enhances audio performance more than you would expect it; to.

With the headset, we believe everything that was added and made was perfect and that there would not be any suggestions; that we could make. We would only say that design-wise, it would have been nice to have some customization options. Maybe some colour or design choice would have been nice, but other than that, the headset is; very good for what you are paying. We wish that the; headset was compatible with Bluetooth as it would allow better compatibility with other devices such as a phone or iPad/tablet.

The RIG 800 Pro gaming headset is a bulky yet light build with simplicity but enticing sound to create an experience from the comfort of your gaming. With its compatibility with Dolby Atmos, the more stunning and customizable sound is presented to you with great ease. This gaming headset has an amazing flip-to-mute mic boom and easy-access controls built onto the headset; itself. For the price of €199.99, these headsets are truly, worth it and will create immersive gaming; and watching experience like no other. The addition of the; charging base also acts like a stand for your headset, which you can use for display on your gaming setup. If you want an effective, comfortable wireless headset with an appreciable; the sense of surround sound, then definitely go check out the RIG 800 Pro Gaming Headset!

Overall: 9.5/10

The great people at AOC have sent us this gaming mouse for review. The AGON AGM600 gaming mouse has been designed for esports enthusiasts and hardcore gamers of FPS and action titles. The mouse is constructed to feature a comfortable design and many different features. This gaming mouse is sold at the price of £39.99.

The packaging of this mouse is simple yet efficient. Most of all, the information relating to the mouse is written on the box. The box has a vibrant red lighting strip; look at it with a great mouse model on the front and back. The box comes with the following items: The AGON AGM600 gaming mouse, a warranty card and a quick setup guide. The mouse has a simple setup as you just plug the USB port into your device. This gaming mouse is wired.

"agon_agm600_1"

The design for the AGON AGM600 gaming mouse is extremely slick; and simple but still has style to it. The mouse has a black base colour to it, with a thin RGB backlight stripe at the bottom, as well as on its logo. The mouse has a metal scroll wheel with a red accent on both sides of the scroll, which adds a nicer touch to the mouse. The simplicity of this mouse is that it is extremely clean. The mouse has some heft to it which adds to its durability. This gaming mouse also has a thumb rest on its right side, which adds to a better grip and rest on the mouse. The specifications for this gaming mouse are the following: Kailh switches, mouse button durability 80 million clicks, 16,000 DPI resolution, 1 ms / 1000 Hz polling rate, Pixart PWM3389 sensor, sensor type is optical, 400 IPS tracking accuracy, Teflon feet mats and the acceleration is 50G. The mouse weighs ~115 g, not including the cable. This gaming mouse has also received the NVIDIA Reflex technology certification. The NVIDIA Reflex technology is also compatible with monitors that are equipped with the NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer tool, which can display the system latency.

"agon_agm600_2"

For this mouse, we played heavy FPS games such as Fortnite, Valorant, Overwatch, and Call of Duty to test out whether it was good for gaming. Now, this gaming mouse has amazing accessibility. First, the DPI on this mouse is well-adjusted with four distinct levels. It's a manual switch, as well as making it easier for you to find the best sensitivity and control for the game you are playing. The different DPI settings also have a very big difference from one another, making them more suitable for various players. In addition to the DPI settings, the sensitivity of this mouse is outstanding. There is no noticeable delay or drag on this mouse. Every move, even the slightest made with this mouse, gets picked up, making it precise and well-adjusted.

The cable on this wired gaming mouse is about 1.8m long and is also braided. This length is great as it can reach across a whole gaming setup, but not just that, the wire comes with a velcro strap to tie it shorter to make it more accessible and cluster-less. We found this little addition; to be very useful for the wire, as sometimes many different wires entangle, and this velcro strap keeps this separate from the others.

"agon_agm600_3"

This gaming mouse is also compatible with the G-Menu software that can be downloaded through the AOC website. The G-Menu displays options from customising button layouts, selecting sensitivity, and adjusting the light fx. This gaming mouse has ten distinct buttons, which can all; be mapped out to different binds. We found this feature to be extremely useful when playing FPS games, as different buttons can bind to pings, callouts, zooms etc. On the customise screen of the G-Menu, there is a nice layout of the mouse with all the 10 buttons labelled. You can customise your own key bind or select from the pre-set options that the menu is equipped with. There are options like a text editor where you can map a button to copy or paste something. The sensitivity menu allows you to adjust the DPI settings, the pointer speed, double click, scroll speed and the polling rate to your liking. The sensitivity menu allows players to find their best sensitivity rather than having to stick with what the mouse is pre-set to. This feature is really well done, as it gives more versatility to the mouse by having more options for players to choose from. The lighting FX menu is mainly to change the colour LED of the mouse. This allows people to match the RGB colour to their setup. This little touch is where you can customise the colour of your mouse. Or change it from a breathing setting to a blinking setting is a great detail that gives full control to the person using the mouse. The G-Menu is very simple and easy to work around, making it the best tool to make your mouse well-adjusted for yourself.

"agon_agm600_4"

Now AOC said the mouse is designed; for esport people or heavy FPS gaming, but even if you do not fall under any of those categories, this mouse is great for casual gaming or even normal work. The mouse can be used to do anything really on your laptop or PC. Its functionality is smooth, up to pace and, more importantly, very comfortable.

Speaking of the comfort of this mouse, this mouse has an amazing; grip and is also very smooth to the touch. The mouse has a skin-friendly matte UV coating giving it a clean black finish on the build. The matte coat has no grit and feels smooth when your hand is placed on the mouse. The matte coat has no slipperiness; to it either and sticks well onto the hand. The sides of the mouse have dual-injected silicon giving it a nice textured hold for the best grip on the mouse. The inclusion; of the rubber base makes it better for the mouse to not slip away from your fingers. Overall, the comfort of the mouse when being used for hours on end when gaming is excellent. There are zero discomforts from this mouse whatsoever.

For this gaming mouse prior to this, we have not used a mouse that is near the price range of this gaming mouse. We used to use a gaming mouse that was around 10 euros. Compared to this mouse, that gaming mouse had zero heft, as in it was too light, and the comfort on the side grips was a lot more gritty feeling. Not just that, but this mouse has much more customization than any cheap mouse would have.

"agon_agm600_5"

In terms of improvements, we would not have any suggestions as the overall build and efficiency of this model is outstanding. For future reference, if AOC wanted to use this very model, they could release a wireless version of this mouse which could appeal to a bigger audience.

This gaming mouse has wonderful customization to it, which we believe will help it appeal to a wide audience. The AGON AGM600 gaming mouse has a sleek design with such simplicity. The mouse comes with many buttons and software that you can use to best fit its features to your preference. We found this mouse to be amazing and worth £39.99. You will not find a mouse in this price range that has many features that can be adjusted for your; own best comfort. The mouse has; a nice grip lining and the RGB adds more to its design. It can not get any better as this mouse has low latency and high responsiveness, meaning you will have no noticeable delay or setback to anything you do. If you want a gaming mouse that has a nice slick design, great customization for its sensitivity, has great; comfort and grip with plenty of buttons for your endless gaming mouse binds, then definitely go check out the AGON AGM600 gaming mouse!

Overall: 9.5/10
The SLYR Pro (Multi-Platform wired gaming headset) is part of the new gaming headset series from Skullcandy gaming. The amazing; people at Skullcandy sent us this gaming headset to review. The SLYR Pro wired headset has been designed to introduce premium sound and features for gamers. This headset is constructed from tough and lightweight materials to bring comfort to gamers whilst they play. The SLYR Pro gaming headset sells for €99.99, other models in this series range from €69.99 - €159.99.

The packaging for this headset is bright and extremely colourful. The box displays a picture of the headset at the front and has lots of specifications about the headset around the box. The choice of colours for this box is very complimentary tones going from purple to light blue. The box reminds us of led lights that are placed in a room. The SLYR Pro headset comes in three different colours: black digihype, green digihype, and blue digihype. The box includes the following items: an SLYR Pro headset, removable boom mic, 3.5mm cable (5ft), USB-C to USB-A cable (3ft), and a user guide/warranty guide. The addition of the two sets of cables allows for more compatibility on various devices. Your best friend, when using; this headset, will be the user guide to use all the features offered in this headset.

As for the design of the SLYR Pro headset, we find the design to be a great complementary set of colours, as the colours are not offsetting from one another. These headsets are also comfortable and light. The review headset sent to us was in the colour style of the black digihype. We enjoy the different colours on the headset, and also really like how the wires are different colours from one another yet still match the headset. The padding under the top of the headset also sits well on the head and helps with support. Near this padding is also a nice colourful pixelated design which adds more character to the headset. A really good feature that this headset has is the ability to be able to adjust the height of the headset; this allows different people to get the best comfort and full coverage on their ears. Another nice touch on the design of this headset would be the inner ear parts having a right and left indication by having their initials in a pixelated font. The pixel designs create the gaming look as if it were an 18-bit type of game. We would like to add that the removable mic is very convenient for when you are playing on your own and do not want the mic in your way, so being able to detach is very useful. The padding on the ears is also very smooth and not rough to the ears, which adds more comfort to this headset. The specifications for this headset are the following: The impedance is 32Ω, the driver diameter is 50mm, the THD is 2<%@1KH, the sound pressure level is 95±3dB, the frequency response is 20Hz – 20KHz, enhanced sound perception, clear voice smart mic and the headset weighs 276g.

[caption id="attachment_208617" align="aligncenter" width="1000"]"skullcandyhead" skullcandyhead[/caption]

This headset comes with great sound quality control by having a built-in equaliser, and even if you are not one to mess around with much that you do not have to, as there are pre-set equaliser settings. First off, we tested the sound quality without messing around with any settings just to see the basics of the headset. We find the sound quality to be surprisingly good when gaming. At the start, we played very FPS-heavy-focused games like Valorant, Overwatch 2, and Fortnite and found that the sound travels well through this headset. For instance, the sound of the gunshots has really good clarity to them and does not need the headset to be at such a high volume. The headset also has a volume scroll on it which adjusts the volume, and what we noticed was that around a certain volume mark, the sound flushed out any outside noise, creating some sense of noise cancellation. Later, we played games like Stardew Valley and Phasmophobia, two very different types of games, and found the sound was amazing, especially in Phasmophobia. Phasmophobia is a horror investigating game, and this headset creates such a good atmosphere with the sound making it seem like you are in the game itself. Something about the sound that felt a bit off was that one ear seemed to be at a lower or higher volume compared to the other ear, yet we found later that this could be adjusted in the Skull-HQ app. A quick thing about the sound that we had noticed, which was interesting as a feature, is how when using two different apps, like discord for calling and Valorant for just playing over the top of one another. The volume of the call in discord would be much louder than in the game.

As a suggestion for anyone who plans on using this headset, especially for gaming on the PC, we prefer you to use the USB-C to USB-A cable as the sound quality seems slightly better through that cable than the other one. The only thing with this cable is that there seems to be static noise when nothing is, being played, which can be annoying to hear.

We used to use wired earbuds that would have a detachable mic to them as well. When putting the headset on for the first time and using it on call, the person on the other end of the call said there was a major difference in the clarity of my voice. Of course, earbuds differ from a headset, but if the difference was major for someone to notice clarity in an instance means that the mic has good quality to them. We also ran little mic tests to check how good the mic is. First, off the mic is a bit farther away from your mouth but picks up sound and your voice extremely, well.

"skullcandyhead3"

This is great as even if you whisper, the sound gets picked up, so gaming late at night will not disrupt the rest of the house. The mic also has a feature where you can directly mute yourself from the headset itself. To be able to use this feature, you have to turn the headset on and use it while it’s on. The voice indication for the mute button is also really good, as it helps let you know if you are or are not muted.

On top of mainly just using the headset on the laptop for gaming, we tried using the headset on an iPad and a Samsung phone. First off, both of these devices no longer have an aux input, so we had to use a USB-C to Aux input converter to use the headset on the devices. Mainly when using the headset on the phone and the iPad, we listened to a series of music and watched videos on youtube/Netflix. The headsets are called to be gaming headsets, but you can easily use them when on another device as well. The sound is extremely clear, there were some slight static noises, but we believe that was due to the aux converter rather than the headset itself. Even for watching videos or listening to music, the sound is amazing. The earpads fitting around the ear create a noise-cancellation atmosphere. After the phone and iPad, we also used the headset on the Xbox. We used a Bluetooth controller and connected the headset through the aux cable. First, off the sound quality through the controller was picked up extremely well; everything was clear to hear, and there was no delay in any of the sounds. In addition to that, the mic picks up sound well through the controller when using Xbox party or using in-game voice chat. Overall the sound and mic quality for the headset is very good.

The headset offers many different modes which can be tested out through the Skull-HQ app. We downloaded this on a PC to test out the different EQ modes. The app can easily be downloaded through the Skullcandy website. To connect the headset to the app, you use the USB-C to USB-A cable. To turn on the equaliser on the headset: there is a switch, and when the equaliser is on, there is a woman's voice indicating if the headset is connected, on or off. The voice indication makes it much easier to know when it is working.

This is our first time working with an equaliser, and the homepage of the Skull-HQ app makes it so easy and sufficient to work around. The battery life of the headset is displayed next to the icon of the headset. Many different dials help with adjusting the volume. Earlier, when we were talking about the difference in volume in each ear, through the app, you can pretty much change the volume settings for each ear, as well as change the volume proportions for when in-game and voice calls. You can also run an enhanced sound perception (E.S.P) test, which allows you to configure your headset to hear every detail of sound.

"slyrpro_2"

#1 [SUPREME MODE]: Supreme mode is pretty much just default mode; this is where none of the settings have been messed around with. The sound is really good for this but does not have many changes to it.

#2 [MUSIC MODE]: For music mode, there is more bass added to the music, and overall, the volume is a bit louder than usual but other than that, there is not much of a change from the supreme mode. Though listening to music on this headset is good as, the instruments and vocals are all really clear and defined.

#3 [MOVIE MODE]: Movie mode also sounds very similar to supreme mode; the only difference is that the volume is slightly louder. Music and movie modes sound very similar to one another as well. Either way, the sound is very good when listening to a movie.

#4 [PODCAST MODE]: Usually, we do not listen to podcasts, but for this test, we listened to an episode of the Distractables by Markiplier. For podcast mode, there is more ‘bright’ to the noise, whereas there is not much dullness to the sound.

#5 [FPS MODE]: From the default preset, the FPS mode adds more depth to the sound, meaning that the sound is deeper. Also, there is a great difference in how the footsteps travel in this FPS mode, you can clearly hear the footsteps, and if the footsteps are over sand, the crunch can be heard, and the farther away the footsteps, the more depth in the sound is created. You can also hear the footsteps travel from one ear to the other when the character in-game moves sides. Over the supreme sound mode (default mode), we prefer this one a lot more when playing an FPS game. The gunshots are slightly more clear but also have a pushback to them.

#6 [RPG MODE]: As for the RPG mode, there seems to be more heightened sound compared to the other modes. This mode creates a good in-game atmosphere as you can hear your surroundings, and the noise travels from ear to ear.

#7 [MMO MODE]: For the MMO mode, there is also more depth added to the sound this; creates more atmosphere, which is similar to the RPG and FPS mode. We would say that the three game-related modes are similar; to each other, but for some, the noise is heightened or dulled down. This does not mean that the sound comes across as bad. We find that the sound for each of these modes goes well.

#8 [CUSTOM EQ MODE]: There is also a custom EQ mode, which we did not mess around with too much, but this allows people to find their preference in sound giving, more variety to the quality of sound the headset gives.

"skullcandyhead2"

The battery life on the headset goes for using the equaliser. Now, if you use the USB-C to USB-A cable, the headset charges as it is being used, which is very efficient, but when fully charging the headset, which takes roughly 2 hours, and draining the battery to 0% last about 26 hours. When we ran the test for the battery life, there were some hiccups that showed up on the EQ mode app with the battery life, as sometimes the battery is less and boosts up to a lot more in the span of seconds. We would say, though even; though the hiccups show, the battery life on this headset is outstanding. For using it to a minimum or maximum, setting the battery life can last up to about 23-26 hours of gaming with no interruptions.

We have to say that the Skull-HQ app is made perfectly. It is not overcrowded and has everything that is needed, with simplicity. Everything on the app is well-defined and easy to work around, and even if you are new to working with equalisers, it is great to start here. This gaming headset it was hard for us to properly compare this to another gaming headset. We do own a gaming headset, but it is much cheaper compared to this headset which would not be a great comparison.

There are a few things here and there that could be taken into account for future reference. First off, this may be different for everyone's preference, but we would like for the detachable mic to be bendable. This would allow for the mic to be closer to the mouth or further away. We like when the mic is closer and believe this tiny design feature can make the mic even better. In addition to this, if you are someone who wears glasses and is using this headset, they are a bit uncomfortable, as the headset seems to be pushing back on the glasses. If there is some way; that can create more adjusting ability to the headset itself, that could help with the glasses issues. We would also like to say for someone who wants to get this headset for the console and has no access to a laptop, it, maybe better to release the Skull-HQ app on the phone. So, more people can mess around with sound settings if the default ones don't suit them.

"sullcandyhead4"

The best feature of this wired gaming headset is its compatibility with the Skull-HQ app. Not just that, but as well as it's compatible with many different devices as well (The inclusion of the two cables makes this good to work with). It is even great how on the headset; even when using it on a different device, you can use the EQ modes through a button on the headset. The SLYR Pro gaming headset has a great simplistic yet stunning design that can match anyone's gaming set-up as well as brings a pop of colour. The headset is light and comes with many great features that you can ask for in a gaming headset. Because of their compact and comforting earpads, these headsets can be used for hours on end for gaming with little to no discomfort. This gaming headset comes with many great features and has such; as a good mic and sound quality. For the price of €99.99, these headsets; a truly worth it and are friendly to new equaliser users. Believe me, if you would like to mess around with headsets that come with pre-EQ modes or want to customise your own, this headset does wonders with that. Not just that, but if you want a light headset; and noise-cancelling because of the earpad's comfort, is wonderful in design, and is compatible with gaming and everyday use, then definitely go check out the SLYR Pro Gaming Headset!

Overall: 8/10

Developer: Nitrome, Yacht Club Games

Platforms: Apple Arcade, PC (Reviewed), Switch

Genre: Action

Publisher: Yacht Club Games

Shovel Knight Dig is a 2D side-scrolling dungeon-crawler roguelite platformer. It is designed to look like a retro 16-bit game. Shovel Knight Dig is from the Shovel Knight series that has been developed and published by Yacht Club Games. Shovel Knight Dig has been developed by Nitrome and Yacht Club Games. There are more that are very similar to this game which falls under the Shovel Knight series game.

The story behind the game is that you are a knight whose weapon is a shovel, and your objective is to reach the ‘meta knight’ who stole your sack of jewels. This is a single-player game that is filled with loads of fun as you progress through various levels to end up in a boss fight.

"shovelknightd1"

You go about by making your way underground, using your trusty shovel to dig out paths to collect numerous; jewels and keys, as well as beat up any monsters in your way. You collect all these jewels and come upon cash stations where you can buy/upgrade different items to help on your adventure. This game includes many more new characters, knights and enemies; it is also filled with tons of humour!

I find the default controls to be a bit hard to use. You have your hands mainly over the entire keyboard layout when you are only using three main keys. For example, when using the dig control, you have to hold down the arrow key and press J, which is a bit difficult to get a hold of right away. The good thing about the controls is that they are extremely simple, as you only press three keys: space (jump), J (dig/attack) and the arrow keys (to move around).

"shovelknightd2"

I personally love any game that is in the 16-bit style, and this game has such a vibrant bright colourful design to it. With the vibrant look, it feels as if you, too, are going on this adventure as the knight. The choice of colour, especially for the knight, makes it stand out very well. I enjoy how the gems and monsters look, not; just that but the animation for when digging as well as hitting an enemy is done really well. My personal favourite enemy hit animation would be when killing the skeleton that holds a sword, the skeleton's head; just flies off. The game would not be as good without the sound effects and the soundtrack. The animation and design of the game compliment the choice of songs the developers picked and the little trinket's noises. For example, when opening the menu of the game, you hear a little ping noise when selecting over certain options, which creates nostalgia for those who would play 16-bit games back in the day but also creates a subtle yet nice familiarity. Also, the soundtrack is so upbeat and gets you in an adventure-going mood. It is another pulse-pounding soundtrack in a new style by astonishing virtuoso Jake Kaufman!

"shovelknightd3"

I found this game to be great fun when wanting to play something you can wind down to or play after a long day. The game is not very hectic: which is great, making it a lot more inviting. Plus, once you get along to progressing; through the levels, you get a bit addicted to wanting to progress through more and more. I would end up dying multiple times, yet that wouldn’t stop me from restarting the game and playing through it again to reach the boss. What I also like about the game is that the levels; are randomly generated, meaning that no two levels are the same making the gameplay, to some extent, endless. I love the soundtrack to this game so much as it gets you going and is very amped up, making the game even more exciting to play.

"shovelknightd4"

If you want to play a game where you make your way down into the depths of the earth whilst getting wealthier and beating up a bunch of enemies in your way, then this is the game for you! Even if you have or have not played the other Shovel Knight games, you can still play this one and enjoy it equally or even more! Become a bright blue knight and use your trusty shovel to dig your way to the riches and keep unlocking further items and get closer to the end!

Overall: 8/10

;
