Summary:
We start off issue four with Toxie talking to Senator Lindsey about the Clean Act and promoting the use of the law in Tromaville as another threat appears: a crazy man named V for Volcel that plans to attack Toxie and his friends.
Toxie has a normal date with his girlfriend, when V thinks of a plan to use several tactics to kill him, such as subduing him, blowing his chest open with a cannonball, and other grim proposals. On the other end, Toxie and his girlfriend plan to have sex for the first time; while V goes on a rant about preserving virginity and taking pride in the fact that his group of followers are incels.
V finally appears in Tromaville to face Toxie, and in person he is a grotesque man who values his distorted view of morals. Toxie defeats him easily, only to return to his girlfriend afterwards to discuss relationship dynamics along with the lingering question: when can they set aside time to work as a couple?
This issue features romance and the relationship between Toxie and his girlfriend. It’s another comedic issue, so lovers of dark comedy will enjoy this to start. The villain-of-the-week for this one wasn’t as strong as the previous one, but the theme of having an incel army stop a toxic avenger was interesting.
