Missile Command Delta – Gameplay Trailer

ATARI’S TURN-BASED STRATEGY GAME MISSION COMMAND DELTA

LAUNCHES JULY 8

Play The Retro-futuristic Game Developed by Mighty Yell and 13AM Games – Gameplay Trailer on Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam This Summer

NEW YORK – May 19, 2025 – Atari, Mighty Yell, and 13AM Games today announced that their retro-futuristic game, Missile Command Delta, will launch on July 8 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, and players can pre-order the game across all platforms starting May 29. A tactical reimagining of Atari’s 1980s missile defense arcade classic as a turn-based tactical game, Missile Command Delta is set against a mysterious narrative that leaves players questioning whether they’re trapped in a simulation or truly defending cities from attack.

In Missile Command Delta, players explore a seemingly abandoned Cold War-era facility filled with locked doors, dishevelled work rooms and dormant supercomputers—until their presence awakens a long-slumbering missile command system. As warning lights flicker to life and radar screens show waves of inbound missiles, players must assume the role of Missile Commander, deploying a diverse arsenal of missile types, each with unique range, explosion size and tactical utility, to defend against a mysterious and overwhelming threat. Only by managing their firepower carefully will they stand a chance of clearing the skies and saving countless lives.

“Whether you’re into puzzles, mystery or just love uncovering secrets, Missile Command Delta has something that will hook you,” said Ethan Stearns, VP of Games at Atari. “We can’t wait for players to jump in and see just how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

Missile Command Delta will launch July 8 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for the game will open May 29.
