Drill Core heads to Steam Next Fest with over 40,000 miners already joining the dig!
Hi-ho, hi-ho, it’s off to work we go…
Belgrade, Serbia, 3 June, 2024 – Since announcing Drill Core on the tinyBuild Connect showcase on 21 May, the indie studio Hungry Couch and publisher tinyBuild gathered over 40,000 Drill Platform Managers to playtest the game, with an average playtime of 4 hours! And it’s only the beginning of this drilling venture, as the demo is available to play on Steam, and will be part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest in June.
“We are very pleased that people enjoyed the playtest of Drill Core,” said Konstantin Burov, head of Hungry Couch Games. “Playtesters helped identify various issues, shared many great ideas, and energized us to work on the game with even more dedication. We want to thank everyone who played the game!”
In Drill Core, it’s all about profit and exploit- er… exploration, as you manage your own mining crew to descend deeper into the planet’s core. Will you build your drilling platform’s defenses to keep everyone safe from the monsters of the deep, or push on for glory and greater rewards by focusing on the dig at all costs?
Dig deeper into the Drill Core demo, available on Steam now! This planet-mining strategy is coming to Early Access on Steam later this year: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2821800/
