Combining cinematic storytelling, criminal profiling and animated 2D visuals, The Big Hollow: 1982 is a concentrated detective thriller built for players who love true crime, deduction, and psychological mystery. Set in the early days of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, the game challenges players to interpret evidence, analyze criminal behavior, and uncover the psychology behind a series of murders.
About The Big Hollow: 1982
It’s 1982, and in a small truck stop community where everybody knows everybody, Ida and Bonnie’s disappearances left questions that no one dared to ask out loud. For the FBI, where the term ‘serial killer’ is as new as their Behavioral Science Unit, this case isn’t just about murder—it’s a test of whether these monsters can really be mapped.
You are Desmond, methodical and intuitive, learning the art of criminal profiling under Lenore Davidson, the cold, exacting representative of the BSU. Your insights could prove the unit’s worth, or expose its limitations.
Ida and Bonnie’s case is full of fragments, contradictions, and unfolding secrets. To solve it, you must decipher the ‘why’ behind the crime, shaping Lenore’s impression of your potential as a profiler. Interpret what you see, uncover the meaning, and find your killer.
FEATURES:
