Summary:
We dive straight into action as the mega mutts wake up imprisoned from the previous issue; this time, the three mutts are being worked inside a sweatshop. Mckenna sneaks into the prison when she examines that all three of the mutts are separated from each other and are finding different ways to avoid interrogation.
This issue goes straight into action, with Griffy and Wolf pummeling other inmates as Mckenna crosses paths with them. The whole prison is set on alert for lockdown as they manage an escape plan. A mysterious cat appears and helps the gang to escape. The dialogue continues to stay sharp and snappy, and the visuals match the energies and the attitudes of the characters; from the villains to the main mutts, the heroes. Chromedome, as a villain, is becoming a loose cannon, wanting to hunt after the mutts when he can. Later on, the backstory behind the grey cube is revealed, and the cat’s name is revealed as Krusher Kat.

Another funny and on-the-nose issue. Great action, great dialogue and the characters continue to shine individually as the plot continues to develop. I would still recommend this series to people who are familiar with other animal teams like the Thundercats and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Overall: 9/10
