June 16th, 2026 – USA – Sol Mates is joining the Steam Next Fest with an update to their demo!
As the Sol Mates odd jobs agency, up to 4 players will crew their spaceship through the perils of space to fulfill the desires of their kooky clients. Blast, steer and shield your way through waves of enemies, buy upgrades for your ship, and vote together on decisions both life-defining and super trivial.
The update brings a second mission, more playable characters, each with their own unique abilities, and a whole host of new enemies, events and challenges for players to face.
Key Features
● Co-op Space Mayhem: Chaos is at every turn as the pressure mounts throughout your interstellar journey. Put out fires both figuratively and literally, yell at someone who’s turned the ship upside down, hog the batteries ‘cause your cannon is more important than some measly shields, all in the name of your grand Space Adventure!
● A Roguelike… with Story?: Space is full of funny business, and our misadventures involve not just strategic, but narrative decisions that’ll shape your journey. Make a different choice on a subsequent run and you might see an entirely different ending!
●Travel In Style: We all know that fashion is the true endgame, and there’ll be plenty of hats and spacesuits for you to unlock. Beyond that, unlock new ships and alien races that opens up new strategies and ways to play; the sky’s (not) the limit.
● Play it your way: Everyone’s got their favorite way to play: we support online play, local co-op, even mixing and matching! We also support the Steam deck and 4 languages (with more to come)
