Summary:
We start off the second issue at the Chicago theater, as the monsters gather around to plan and plot out the rest of enslaving humans in the five different territories. The monsters reiterate that the humans are subservient to them, and that they have made great progress. We switch over to the same wooded area from the previous issue, where werewolves are sniffing the land, trying to scout more humans.

Virago helps the young man hide away from the wolves, as he licks him to contain his scent. The man hops on Virago’s mane as Virago agrees to hide him away from scavengers. The colors on Virago look great, as he looks as if he’s blue and green. Orpheus, the black spirit who is head of the transportation, is challenged by one of the other monsters about the efficiency of the project itself.

Later on, the young man and Virago make it back to his hideout, as he finds pictures on the wall of drawings from a child. The issue ends with Orpheus attacking the guards that try to fight her head-on.
The story continues to unfold as we see the motives of more monsters. The story still feels great to follow along, and the artwork looks great. Again, I think readers who enjoy adventure along with fantasy will like this series.
Overall: 8/10
