Summary:
This issue starts with a band of warriors traveling far to find the estate of Custos, a wizard who left a will behind in a note he wrote before his death. You have a bigger warrior named Cholm, a sorceress named Drusila and another woman named Val. Tilly, a blue-haired thief, decides to join the three as she exclaims that they need extra help maneuvering through traps in the newly found temple estate of Custos.

The book seems to keep up with its humor as many things happen: the eradication of eldritch monsters, misunderstandings between each of the team members and more. The book never takes itself too seriously, and it shows the differences between the warrior classes and how they interact with enemy encounters.
There is also a small short story towards the end that features Mordikainen, a sorcerer.

More warriors join later on, such as Strago, and there is the appearance of a one-eyed monster that controls Val and takes off. I think this series would be a fun read for people who are familiar with D&D already, but it’s still a solid comic overall without the appeal specifically for those players. The artwork looks great, and the colors are vibrant; the dialogue remains funny throughout the book.
Overall: 7.5/10
