T-Minus Zero Entertainment Shadow-Drops Debut Game DREGS, a Four-Player Co-Op Horror-Comedy, Now Available on Steam Early Access
The newly independent studio’s first release turns expendable clones, deep-space salvage, and terrible teamwork into pure “friendslop” chaos

AUSTIN, TX — July 17, 2026 — T-Minus Zero Entertainment today announced the surprise launch of DREGS, a four-player co-op horror-comedy now available on Steam Early Access. The game is priced at $9.99, with a special 15% launch discount available until July 24.
The debut release from the newly independent studio based in Austin, Texas, DREGS lets players take on the role of expendable clones sent aboard abandoned deep-space facilities to recover salvage on behalf of a mysterious, unreasonably generous client. The relics in question are less “ancient artifact” and more random remnants of a civilization long gone, like rubber ducks, plush toys, or scented candles, but nobody on the crew is paid enough to ask why they matter.
Each salvaging expedition combines tense exploration, unpredictable environmental hazards, cooperative puzzle-solving, and encounters with unspeakable horrors through the chaos of a four-person crew of clones whose greed and judgment rarely point the same direction.Â
Exploring derelict space stations in pursuit of long-abandoned tchotchkes is dangerous work, and (an often hilarious) death lurks around every corner. But don’t worry; every expendable clone lost to a bad decision, an environmental hazard, or a teammate’s “accidental” betrayal is simply replaced by another, letting each mission’s disasters escalate a little further than the last.
T-Minus Zero Entertainment’s take on the “friendslop” genre popularized by viral hits such as Lethal Company and Content Warning, DREGS is built around the moments a crew creates together: panicked escapes, accidental (allegedly) betrayals, failed rescues, totally avoidable deaths, and stories that become funnier every time the group retells them.
DREGS is also the first release from the newly independent T-Minus Zero Entertainment. The studio was originally founded in August 2023 as a AAA studio under NetEase Games. When NetEase closed the studio two years later, four members of its leadership team — Zac, Mark, Scott, and Jeff — opted not to walk away. The group immediately rebooted T-Minus Zero as an independent, project-based production company, working in stealth mode on an entirely new game.
DREGS is that game.
“Nine months ago, T-Minus Zero was forced to shut down by our parent company. But we weren’t done,” said Zachary (Zac) Beaudoin, CEO of T-Minus Zero Entertainment. “We rebooted the studio and immediately started work on a new coop game. Now we are delighted to share DREGS with the world.”
