With more than 430,000 Steam wishlists, Carnival Hunt will open its doors to players tomorrow. We are pleased to share the Early Access launch details and media materials for our 5v1 first-person asymmetrical multiplayer horror game.
Carnival Hunt launches on Steam on July 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM CT. The game will be priced at $19.99 USD, with regional pricing based on country and currency. A 10% launch discount will also be available for a limited time.
One Monster. Five Wind-Up Bunnies. In each match, five Bunnies must work together to complete objectives, manage their wind-up charge, and move through the carnival before the Monster stops their escape.
The Bunnies are fragile rather than powerful. Survival depends on communication, careful resource management, and knowing when to move, hide, or risk making noise.
The Monster Role
Two Hunters Available at LaunchAt launch, players choosing the Monster role will have access to two Hunters. Each Hunter can be customized with multiple active, passive, and modifier gear upgrades for different situations and playstyles.
The Monster must control space, divide the Bunny team, create pressure, and stop the group before it reaches the final escape.
Modular Map Design
32 Rooms, Changing RoutesCarnival Hunt takes a modular approach to map design. Instead of relying on one completely fixed layout, each match is assembled from individual blocks called rooms.
Early Access launches with 32 rooms across several themes. The rooms are procedurally arranged, allowing routes, connections, and encountered spaces to change between sessions. Each new room added during Early Access will expand the pool of possible layouts.
Changing layouts are designed to keep both roles adapting. Familiar objectives may appear in unfamiliar spaces, and something that looks like a teammate may not be what it seems.
What to Expect from Early Access
A Playable Foundation Built to GrowEarly Access is not the full release. Players may encounter occasional bugs, balancing issues, or areas that require further refinement. The core gameplay mechanics are already in place, and we have worked closely with our community to test and improve the experience ahead of launch.
Throughout Early Access, our highest priorities will remain stability, performance, balance, player feedback, and fair competition between the two roles. As additional content is introduced and the game moves closer to full release, the price may increase.

Looking Ahead
Experimental Bunny Town FeatureBunny Town is an experimental feature planned for development after the initial Early Access launch. It is being designed as a shared community space where players can use resources earned from matches to build a small town together.
The current concept includes personal spaces that can be developed and decorated, along with the ability to visit friends and explore areas created by other members of the community. The feature remains experimental and will continue evolving during development.
Limited Launch Reward
Epic Imposter Mask
To mark the Early Access launch, anyone who logs into Carnival Hunt during the first three days will receive the Epic Imposter Mask.
Once claimed, the cosmetic will remain connected to the player’s account.
