Playground Productions Launches Backyard Baseball On Steam

The iconic franchise returns with multiplayer and is coming soon to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2

Today, Playground Productions, a children’s and family company focused on making best-in-class film, television, digital media and video games, released a brand-new original version of Backyard Baseball — the iconic game that has captivated players since 1997.

Available now on Steam for Mac and PC, the reimagined title brings the beloved franchise into a new era with modern features while preserving the charm that made it a fan favorite. Players can also wishlist Backyard Baseball Today on PlayStation and Xbox, with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions arriving soon as part of the game’s full console rollout.
