Tripwire Presents to Publish Action-Simulation and Management Title, The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire, from Developer BEF Games, Available now on PC in Steam Early Access
Tripwire Presents, the publishing division of Tripwire Interactive, today announced that they will publish The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire from independent Turkish developer BEF Games. Previously titled The Boss Gangsters: Nightlife, The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire is an open-world action-simulation and management game where players must build a criminal empire, eliminate rival crews, and rule over Night City to become the ultimate Boss Gangster. The title is currently available on Windows PC in Steam Early Access for $18.99/€18.99/£15.99, or Wishlist to keep track of ongoing development and updates.
About The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire
Set in the fictional Night City in the 1980’s, The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire is a hybrid action-simulation and management game stacked with open-world criminal activities. Players take on the role of an aspiring gangster with kingpin dreams, where they must build a criminal empire from nothing and rule the city, or fall to a rival and lose everything.
Key Features:
- Build the Business: The nightclub won’t run itself, it needs an ace manager. Keep the club well stocked, hire the best entertainers in town for wild themed nights, and give VIP guests the white glove treatment to grow the club’s reputation. The better the reputation, the more lucrative the business opportunities are.
- Lead the Family: A Boss is nobody without their family. Hire, train, and equip a loyal crew to protect the Boss and their business interests, and help with “hostile” takeovers.
- Defend the Boss: Provide protection to local businesses in exchange for their “support”. Protect the Boss’s turf from rival gang attacks and eliminate the competition to become the Boss Gangster.
- Rule the City: The city is a playground for those who know how to work it. Bribe corrupt police and “influence” city officials like the mayor to ensure smooth operations or risk the long arm of the law. Establish a criminal empire and rule the city, or fail and disappear forever.
- Original Soundtrack: Set the right vibe with 16 custom in-game music tracks to enhance the nightlife atmosphere.
- Ongoing Development: Upcoming updates will allow players to choose their path from managing a nightclub, running a drug manufacturer, building and supplying weapons, or running a hotel as the starting point for their criminal empire.
