LIONSGATE UK RELEASES TRAILER FOR NEW THRILLER “THE HOUSEMAID”

LONDON (16 September 2025) — Lionsgate UK today releases the trailer, poster and imagery for upcoming thriller THE HOUSEMAID. Based on the bestselling novel by Freida McFadden, the film is directed by Paul Feig (A Simple Favour, Bridesmaids) and stars Sydney Sweeney (Anyone But You, The White Lotus) and Amanda Seyfried (Mank, The Dropout). The film will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on Boxing Day 2025, and also stars Brandon Sklenar, Michele Morrone and Elizabeth Perkins.
Official Synopsis: THE HOUSEMAID is a wildly entertaining thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, based on the best-selling book. From director Paul Feig, the film plunges audiences into a twisted world where perfection is an illusion, and nothing is as it seems. Trying to escape her past, Millie (Sweeney) accepts a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar).
