Over the years, the challenge has uncovered outstanding talent, including Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), who began his journey right here. The competition pushes filmmakers to their limits, giving them just one weekend to write, shoot, and edit a short sci-fi film based on supplied creative elements revealed at kick-off.

A distinguished panel of jurors will judge this year’s submissions, including awardwinning sci-fi author Adrian Tchaikovsky, ESA lunar expert Nadine Boersma, and Gavin Rothery the co-creator of the iconic movie MOON

“Our challenge is where innovation meets adrenaline,” says Louis Savy, Director of SCI-FI-LONDON. “It’s an incredible launchpad for fresh sci-fi talent, and we can’t wait to see this year’s entries.”

It’s completely free to enter! Registration is now open, so don’t miss your chance to be part of the world’s most exciting sci-fi film challenge.
