Hack and Slash Sequel Hammerwatch II Arrives on PC Today
The four-player co-op journey across a vast, beautiful pixel art world is now available, coming to consoles at a later date

Today’s launch was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the vast, diverse kingdom players will explore while working to aid King Roland’s resistance against Blight the Horrible and his dragon army. Battle massive beasts and hordes of the undead in an epic quest with brand-new features and a giant open world.
Journey through Hammer Island, the Fallowfields, and the dark mountainous regions of Blackbarrow, all created in the signature Hammerwatch pixelated art style. Build a custom Herian Hero and choose between five distinct character classes: Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard and Warlock before customizing your appearance and leveling up to unlock powerful new abilities and skills.
Starting now, PC players will be treated to a fully moddable world. Edit levels, create new stories and even craft totally unique experiences unlike anything found in the base game of Hammerwatch II to truly create a distinctive adventure.
Modus Games also offers a special edition of Hammerwatch II, Hammerwatch II: The Chronicles Edition, available for purchase now for $39.99 digitally. This version of the game includes the original remastered Hammerwatch as well as additional character color palettes, facial items, and the character voice pack. An anniversary edition of the original game is also available on Steam today.
Those looking to start their quest on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will be able to begin their own epic journey at a later dated.
