ATARI LAUNCHES TURN-BASED STRATEGY GAME MISSION COMMAND DELTA
Play The Retro-futuristic Game Developed by Mighty Yell and 13AM Games on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam
NEW YORK – July 8, 2025 – Today, Atari, Mighty Yell and 13AM Games officially released their retro-futuristic game, Missile Command Delta, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. A strategic, turn-based reimagining of Atari’s classic 1980s missile defense game, Missile Command Delta is anchored in a mysterious narrative that leaves players questioning whether they’re trapped in a simulation or truly defending cities from attack.
In Missile Command Delta, players step into a long-abandoned Cold War facility where flickering lights, sealed doors and dormant supercomputers stir back to life, triggering a reactivation of a forgotten missile defense system—and a new wave of threats. As Missile Commander, players must utilize a diverse arsenal of missile types, each with unique range, blast radius and tactical use, to defend cities from overwhelming attacks. With every strike, pressure mounts, resources dwindle and the line between simulation and reality begins to blur. Only by surviving the assault can players uncover the truth buried beneath decades of secrecy.
“Whether players are here for the strategy, the story or the surprises waiting deep in the bunker, we’re thrilled for players to dive in and start uncovering it all for themselves,” said Ethan Stearns, VP of Games at Atari. “There’s a lot to dig into here, and we’re excited for players to explore everything Missile Command Delta has to offer and uncover.”
You can purchase Missile Command Delta now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
