Oyonnax, France – Indie developer Souris-Lab has released a new playable demo for Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition, a puzzle-platformer where players solve challenges using mathematical logic inside a vibrant and colorful world made up of numbers and geometric shapes.
Players can download the demo now via Steam and wishlist to follow the game in-development.
In addition to the demo, the team at Souris-Lab is unveiling its official Discord server, where players can find development updates, guides, and community discussions.
About the Game
Néro & Sci ∫ Integral Edition takes the player on an exploration of the unique world of Héméide, made up of shapes, numbers, and mathematical symbols.
Throughout their journey, players must use logic and reasoning to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles while helping open the minds of the Synapsian people.
Combining platforming with mathematical logic, the game challenges players with increasingly complex puzzles designed to reward experimentation and creative thinking.
“When I created this game, I wanted players to see mathematics the way I used to see them in the books my parents gave me: their colors, their mysteries..
I’m not particularly good at math or logic, but these subjects drew me in, so I had to incorporate my artistic vision into them. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.” – Caroline Martinand, CEO, and art director.
