Discover lost creatures, build habitats, raise Nimbits, and prepare them for life back in the wild
August 17, 2026 –Â Indie developer Megasploot has released Nimbit Frontier, a cozy creature-raising adventure and life sim, into Early Access on Steam. After accumulating more than 40,000 Steam wishlists ahead of launch, the game is available for $13.99 USD, with a 10% launch discount.
After five years in development, Nimbit Frontier launches with 20+ hours of content, featuring 42 Nimbit species to discover and nurture, three biomes to explore, 24 NPCs to meet, habitat building, town life, and expeditions into the mysterious Underwild.
Unlike traditional creature collectors, Nimbit Frontier is built around eventually letting your creatures go.
At its core, Nimbit Frontier is Chao Garden meets Stardew Valley, with light action-roguelike dungeon crawling tying the experience together.
Players venture beyond Star’s End to recover genetic fragments of lost species, hatch Nimbits back at home, create habitats suited to their needs, care for them, teach them survival skills, and eventually release them back into the wild.
For players who would like to try the game first, a free demo is available on Steam, offering a 2-hour introduction to Nimbit Frontier’s creature raising, exploration, combat, and town life.
