Mazey Village is a cozy, tornado-torn town-restoration adventure blending maze exploration, light environmental puzzles, and village rebuilding, from developer Slappy Inc.
[July 29th, 2026]: Slappy Inc. today announced that Mazey Village, its cozy village-restoration adventure, will launch into Steam Early Access on August 5th, 2026. The game is available on Steam for PC, with a playable demo also available for players who want to try before they buy.
Mazey Village casts players as a skilled maze navigator arriving in a village left in ruins after a tornado has scattered homes, belongings, and villagers across the land. Players explore handcrafted, maze-like biomes including forests, ancient ruins, and snowy landscapes, solving light environmental puzzles involving weights, switches, and elevators to recover villagers’ lost belongings. As items are returned and homes are rebuilt, the village gradually comes back to life, allowing players to decorate, terraform, and shape the community however they like.
Alongside its puzzle and rebuilding systems, Mazey Village offers a full slate of cozy life activities, including fishing, gardening, and catching local critters, as well as a cast of charming NPCs with humorous, heartfelt dialogue and small personal stories woven throughout the world.
Mazey Village will continue to evolve throughout Early Access, with Slappy Inc. planning to use player feedback to guide future updates, additional biomes, and new content ahead of a full 1.0 release.
