The indie publisher’s first release is now available through Kickstarter
After months of anticipation, the first release from Summit Comics is now available for pre-order. Summit: Pinnacle #1 serves as the official launching pad for the wider Summit Universe, featuring over a dozen stories from nearly 30 creators. The end result is well over 120 pages of content in a single perfect-bound book available exclusively through the brand’s Kickstarter campaign.

“The level of commitment from the creators has been incredible. Everyone is fully invested—excited to create new characters and help build this universe together,” Summit CEO Travis Gibb says of the publisher. “I’ve had no trouble finding people willing to step up, carry the weight, and truly be part of it.”
Summit: Pinnacle #1 is available in both softcover and hardcover editions. The softcover versions feature artwork from Bejamin Morse (We Are Scarlet Twilight) and Pete Collins (The Bardic Verses) while the hardcover options include artwork from Dave Acosta (Thundercats) and Dave Acosta (Green Arrow, Swamp Thing).“We want to tell stories that are from an unsung group of creators in a landscape where the biggest get to have their names in headlines compared to the creators who barely get such acknowledgment playing with toys that have 100 years worth of rehashed stories and flawed continuity,” Editor-in-Chief Devin Arscott adds. “This is a fresh new thing for all newcomers to dive right in and grow with us for many years to come.”
The Summit: Pinnacle #1 campaign is live now and lasts through February.

Summit’s launch roster of creatives includes Travis Gibb (Upheaval, Cthulhu Invades), CJ Hudson (Granite, Interstellar Dust), Devin Arscott (Noir, Magni the Mighty), Adam Barnhardt (SH*TSHOW, Moonspawn), Marcus Jimenez (Techoknights, Knight From Hell), Eric Palicki (Guardians of Infinity, Black’s Myth), Brayden Viloria (Haven), J. Michael Miller (Kid Cretaceous, The Healer’s Blade), Nate Schachter (The CloakRoom), Cam Kerkau (Gilgamesh), Daniel Kalban (American Dreams, Knightwrath), Brian Wolf (Upheaval), Benjamin Morse (We Are Scarlet Twilight), Ignacio di Meglio, Sebastian Piccione (CAT.5), Peter Collins (The Bardic Verses), and letterer extraordinaire Jerome Gagnon.
