PLAYISM’s Audio-Driven Horror Game Cling to Blindness Launches Today on Steam
Second Release in Indie Publisher PLAYISM’s Fall Lineup Including “Cling to Blindness” and “Million Depth”
OSAKA, Japan – Nov. 7, 2025 – Cover your eyes and trust your ears… PLAYISM, the Japanese publishing company renowned for bringing games from indie developers to the global market, continued rolling out its fall line up with the release of Cling to Blindness today. This audio horror game from developer Lizardry is a test of the sense of hearing – where players navigate a mysterious village and perform rituals, solely relying on sounds from the surrounding environment and looming footsteps to survive.
Featuring a fully audio-driven design with only simple visual interfaces for controls and menus, Cling to Blindness is accessible and enjoyable for players who are visually impaired. Use your mouse to progress through the game. Moving the mouse around allows players to progress through the game by changing the player’s perspective and helping to locate where sounds are coming from. Cling to Blindness also welcomes players outside the horror genre, as there are no jump scares but rather the game focuses on the tension of perceived sounds from the game
The English version of the game features voice actors Anya Floris in the role of Satsuki, and Soness Stevens as The Guide. Cling to Blindness is available now for PC via Steam today for $5.99 USD.
Today’s launch of Cling to Blindness is the second title in PLAYISM’s fall line up of indie games. Previously on Oct. 7, PLAYISM released MotionRec, a cassette tape-themed puzzle game where players must find creative ways to record and playback movements to solve puzzles. The next game in the fall offering will be Million Depth, an action strategy game that bends time and reality as it brings players deep underground. Million Depth will be available Nov. 12, also on Steam Store
