With the launch of the Kickstarter campaign for The Art of Vinne – My Way. We are delighted to be joined by the artist Vinne. Vinne is a self-taught artist. He is mainly known for his personal illustrations.
Hi Vinne, it’s so nice to have you here with us. Could you please introduce yourself to our readers?
Vinne: Hey! I’m an artist, 24, based in Brazil. I do illustrations, art direction and recently have been working on my own clothing brand designing products and graphics. I’ve been working with art in general since 2017 and, after 6 years, I’m finally releasing my first book about it.
Can you tell us about the origins of The Art of Vinne – My Way?
Vinne:The first idea I spoke with Clover Press about was a compilation of my artworks divided by color schemes. My early works were completely different from the recent art, and this turned into the main objective of the art book, a little storytelling about these phases of my life.
What has it been like curating your art for this art book?
Vinne: I spent a good amount of time revisiting my older works. This gave me inspiration for future works. I felt happy. To be honest, it is good to see self improvement.
Is there a particular illustration from The Art of Vinne – My Way that you hold dear to your heart?
Vinne: Twin Blades (2023) is perfect. I love the aesthetic and the elements, it matches perfectly the direction I want to push both on my next works and my brand Hex Termina.
Can you tell us about the exclusive Kickstarter rewards for The Art of Vinne – My Way?
Vinne: We will have a special limited edition necklace developed by Hex Termina, my first time ever selling original sketches, signed prints and much more. Expect to have an entire experience!
What are you currently working on?
Vinne: I’m focused on my work for the band Bring Me The Horizon and development of new products at Hex Termina.
