Madrid, Spain – October 11, 2024. Meridiem is excited to announce that a brand new demo for Neon Blood will be available during the upcoming Steam Next Fest. Starting at 6pm BST / 7pm CEST / 1pm EST / 10am PST on 14th October, fans will be able to get hands-on with this thrilling neo-noir detective RPG / graphic novel ahead of its 26th November global release date. In addition to the new playable demo, gamers can watch a brand-new developer live stream with never-before-seen gameplay from the ChaoticBrain Studios development team.Â
Neon Blood is a neo-noir cyberpunk RPG / Graphic Adventure with a striking 2.5D aesthetic using PixelArt 2D sprites with 3D modelled environments. Prepare to embark on a thrilling adventure as you follow Axel McCoin, an idealistic detective from Blind City, as he becomes the symbol of a revolution poised to change the world. Explore McCoin’s dystopian world and face a variety of puzzles blended with classic turn-based combat and precise Quick Time Events.Â
Neon Blood is now available to pre-order in physical format on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, as well as digitally on all platforms. Neon Blood will be released on November 26th, 2024.
Year 2053, after the Third World War, humanity has been reduced to a single macropolis, Viridis, which is formed by two cities, the luxurious Bright City and the dystopian Blind City.
Axel McCoin, a detective from Blind City, will be motivated by his ideals to rebel against the injustices caused by the social separation between the two cities and the social inequalities that exist in society in general, becoming a symbol of a revolution.
In his adventure, Axel will meet powerful allies who will help him in his purpose as well as enemies who will stand in his way, such as Ruby Emerald who will do everything possible to make Axel’s plans fail.
