Initially launched on Kickstarter in 2021, Mutiny Magazine was then offered as a bimonthly magazine (on Kickstarter, then, through Diamond), featuring the titular flagship character, Miss Mutiny. Now back and better than ever, Miss Mutiny finally receives her due with MUTINY: BLACK GIRL MAGIK launching with an all-Black femme team featuring Kristal Adams, writer, comedian, and co-owner of FairSquare Comics, as lead writer, Asiah Fulmore (formerly DC Comics, NBC Universal), as illustrator, and Amanda Meadows (formerly Oni Press) as co-editor.
MUTINY: BLACK GIRL MAGIK will come with six covers from Alitha Martinez, Asiah Fulmore, Sway and Fabrice Sapolsky.

THE PERFECT TITLE FOR WOMEN’S MONTH
After Black History Month, we thought it’d be great to “bridge” such an iconic and important month with Women’s month, happening right now. Though it’s hard to believe, having a 100% black women creative and editorial team is a novelty in comics. We’re proud to be ahead of the curve!
