How 2 Escape will make players cooperate with a new way to play, the free companion app will have a PC version at launch.
Paris & Lyon, France August 8, 2023 – Breakfirst Games and Just For Games are happy to announce they are bringing the highly requested PC version of the free companion app for their game How 2 Escape at launch, offering even more ways to cooperate!
The companion app will be available on Steam August 31st, simultaneously with the release of the main game. Additionally, the game will includes features related to accessibility as puzzles will all offer a colorblind option.
Screenshots from the companion application are available for the very first time, letting players discover the other side of the game.
How 2 Escape will be available August 31, 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PC , PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One/Series.

The free companion app for the second player is available for free on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android) and will also be on PC at launch.
In How 2 Escape, players will have to talk and collaborate to find the solution: one player, trying to escape, will play on a computer or console and the second, trying to help the first player, will play on a phone with the free dedicated companion app.
Internet is NOT required to play: whether you are in the same room, on the phone or on a chat app, anything works to play How 2 Escape together!
The only rule: It’s a game that relies on communication, so talk to one another and keep your screen for yourself!
