GNOG Now Available for PlayStation 4 and PSVR

GNOG, the whimsical and colorful puzzle adventure game by KO_OP and published by Double Fine Presents, is now available for PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR (PSVR) support. Winner of the Art Direction award at the Montreal Independent Games Festival in 2016 and Best of the Mix award at E3 in 2015, GNOG is a wondrous journey through a universe of playfully interactive monster heads. Players are invited to experience a childlike sense of wonder as they press, pull, slide, grab, click, and rotate an array of features inside a myriad of unique interconnected heads to uncover the secrets and dazzling wonders contained within. GNOG can be purchased from the PlayStation Store for $14.99. Support for Steam and iOS will be available available later this year.

GNOG 2

“GNOG was inspired by some of our favorite childhood toys,” said Saleem Dabbous, Co-Founder and Studio Director of KO_OP. “We wanted it to be a game that elicited a sense of wonder and experimentation that was unobstructed by rigid rules and time limits. GNOG allows players to explore at their own pace and solve puzzles for the pure purpose of amusement at every turn, and we’re thrilled to be able to share it with everyone today.”

Created by KO_OP, an artist run and owned studio based out of Montreal, in partnership with Double Fine Presents, GNOG features nine hand-crafted levels of magical puzzles accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack from KO_OP’s composer Marskye. Inspired by real-world toy designs, every GNOG head is a miniature world to discover. Grab a bookcase and spin it to reveal a hidden pile of coins, slide levers to navigate a damaged ship through outer space, crank a wheel to cook a stew on the stove – each playful interaction generates lively feedback and surprising consequences. Set to a relaxing and dynamic soundtrack that evolves with each level, the surreal worlds and joyful puzzles of GNOG will have you turning heads.

GNOG is available now on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 with support for PlayStation VR (PSVR) for $14.99.
