Premier Indie Publisher Modus Games Partners with Moondrop Studios to Bring Degrees of Separation to Consoles and PC this Winter
September 26, 2018 – Walnut Creek, CA – Triple I video game publisher Modus Games today announced they will publish Degrees of Separation, the atmospheric 2D puzzle-adventure game developed by Moondrop Studios. Degrees of Separation will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam (Windows PC) in February, 2019.
Using contrasting aspects of heat and cold, Degrees of Separation requires players harness their respective climates – embodied by characters Ember and Rime – in order to maneuver through the game and explore as a team. Together, the two use their respective powers to progress through a spectacular world of fantasy and adventure.
The game is playable in single-player or co-op multiplayer, allowing two players to work together to traverse environmental obstacles. Ember and Rime will work toward a common goal while exploring a non-linear world that at times underscores just how very different they are.
“The combination of innovative mechanics and powerful narrative is what drew us to this game,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Modus Games. “It’s why we seek out these very important indie titles that have a true story to tell.”
“We are incredibly excited to have players step into the shoes of Ember and Rime,” said Andreas Fuglesang, CEO and Programmer at Moondrop Studios. “We can’t wait to reveal more of their journey in the coming months!”
Degrees of Separation is available to Wishlist on Steam now. Preorders will open at a later date.
