Below is my Pull list for this week. The books I buy are what interest me on an on-going basis but I will pick up or cut a book faster than a speeding bullet. The reasoning behind what is on/off my list is neither logical, sound or even intelligent but I will defend it, so please feel free to agree or disagree with me!
AVENGERS ARENA #14, €2.99
This story so far has been great, it’s not perfect but it is one of the most engaging reads and one of the first I tend grab to read when my stack arrives of a Wednesday morning.
BATMAN SUPERMAN #3, €4.99
Honourable mention of the week: I missed this when it started and will wait for the TPB but it sure is a beautiful book, I loved Jae Lee’s work on the Dark Tower.
CAPTAIN AMERICA #10, €3.99
I’ve had a few heated conversations about this book recently, it seems that a lot of people don’t like the current storyline because it’s not “Captain America”. Nothing gets to me more than that complaint from people, if that’s your argument then I’d question if the character has become pigeonholed and boring. This is one of my favourite books at the minute because it’s a different kind of Cap story.
DEADPOOL #15, €2.99
Sometimes I love him, sometimes I find it hard to get to the last page. Recently I’ve mostly been in the love court, the dead presidents story was very good but the 1970’s flashback thing was awful. With Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire taking over the Pencils and the Colours on the book hopefully we are in for some great story-telling.

FBP FEDERAL BUREAU OF PHYSICS #2, €2.99
The Book Formally Known as Collider. I must admit I originally missed putting this on my pull-list this week due to that name change. One of Veritgo’s ‘Defy’ titles new to our selves, the first issue was excellent and I’m looking forward to reading more. I can already smell a Feature Film off this book. I’ve heard rumors Issue #3 will just be music related symbol!
FF #11, €2.99
I’m nearing the end of my time with this book. It’s an interesting premise but not executed well enough.
NEW AVENGERS #9 INFINITY, €3.99
Infinity kicked off this month and this issue of New Avengers is a tie-in to the main arc, normally I steer clear of tie-in’s to the big stories and check out the trade later if someone recommends it, but with this one as Hickman is writing this book as well I’ll bite.
THOR GOD OF THUNDER #12, €3.99
Honestly how good was the God-Bomb story-line [if your answer is negative please click here]. I’ve never been a big Thor fan in his own book but if they keep up the pace and quality of late I’m sticking around for a while. Although based on the synapsis over at Marvel the new story sounds horribly similar to a Superman story for a year or two ago and that has me worried.
ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN #26, €3.99
I liked this book before Miles, I like Miles. I personally think that the current story-line could’ve been told and wrapped in one issue, maybe two. Please pick up the pace with this book.
