MAMORU HOSODAʼS BIGGEST EUROPEAN SUCCESS TO DATE!
VIZ Media Europe/Kazé and Studio CHIZU are extremely pleased to announce that thanks to the support of the cinemas, the press and the public, Wolf Children, (distributed by Eurozoom) has achieved over 100,000 cinema admissions in France. It is shown in 110 screens across France.
In Japan as well, Wolf Children is a huge success at the box office : more than 3.4 million admissions across 384 screens which makes it the 3rd movie at the box office in 2012 so far!
VIZ Media Europe is extremely happy with the press and audience reception so far and looks forward to continuing the filmʼs promotion and release across EMEA over the coming months.
“Wolf Children” will be screened at International Fantastic Film Festival of SITGES (official selection), Film from the South (Norway), London Film Festival, Scotland Loves Animation and Leeds Film Festival over the next two months.
