Hit web comic creator K. Lynn Smith has teamed up with Devil’s Due Entertainment to bring her web series Plume to stores throughout 2013!
Plume #1_ is scheduled to debut in comic book stores in december, running for five issues, collecting the story from the web comic that is attracting thousands per day as of this release.
The Plume campaign follows both Devil’s Due’s successful Kickstarter campaign for _Yumiko: Curse of the Merch Girl, with hip hop icon Murs, and Smith’s previously successful campaign to print one issue of the web comic nearly one year ago in the strip’s infancy.
Plume is a tale about a girl named Vesper Grey and her supernatural companion, Corrick. After her world-exploring father’s work is stolen, she and Corrick leave her repressed Victorian lifestyle and venture out into the Wild West to reclaim and take names.
The crowd funding campaign will utilize popular “Unlock” rewards to open new pledge packages and new covers not available in stores.
