The Kickstarter for Detective Honeybear has been 100% funded in only 15 Days! In fact, as of this writing, we’re already at 102%, and still going.
Detective Honeybear is an all-ages mystery comic about an adorable little bear in a noir, crime-filled world. It’s written by Alex Zalben (Thor and the Warriors Four), with art by Josh Kenfield (Axe Cop, Ratfist), and if you want to know more about it, the first Detective Honeybear story – “Detective Honeybear and the Case of the Curious Cap” – is available online, totally for free.
The Kickstarter was initially to fund a 300 copy printing of our second, full-length story - “Detective Honeybear and the Mystery of the Terrible Llamas” – as well as a limited edition reprint of the first story. Now that we’ve surpassed our goal, and already pre-sold over 50% of the comics were planning on printing, we’re aiming for a larger print run in order to get the book around to conventions and into more stores.
