The Dark Knight Rises special content on Virgin Media TiVo

To celebrate the release of the most highly anticipated movie this year, The Dark Knight Rises, Virgin Media has teamed up with Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures to launch a dedicated Dark Knight app for its cutting edge TiVo service*. Designed to give Virgin Media customers the chance to immerse themselves in unique interactive content on the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s ground-breaking Dark Knight trilogy, the app is packed with thrilling content that will delight fans.
To help build excitement for the upcoming release in cinemas on July 20th, the app lets avid fans view a whole host of dedicated trailers and clips from the Dark Knight trilogy, browse through pictures, watch interviews with the cast of The Dark Knight Rises and read all about the new film. In addition, fans can get the lowdown on all the characters in The Dark Knight Rises – including the new villain, Bane, a masked terrorist who ruthlessly threatens to bring death and destruction to Gotham City.
To complement the new app, fans will be able to catch up on the first two spectacular Nolan movies, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Both movies are available to rent now through Virgin Media Movies on Demand and offer the perfect lead in to The Dark Knight Rises as it hits cinemas nationwide on 20th July.

Developed by Virgin Media with content from Warner Bros. Pictures, The Dark Knight Rises app can be found in the Apps and Games section on Virgin Media TiVo. It joins a whole host of interactive features available on the service covering games, online video, music and news, including BBC iPlayer, YouTube and Spotify. Virgin Media is working with a variety of partners for a range of new apps and next generation interactive services to make the most of the advanced features and connectivity built into the TiVo service.
