WAAAAAAR!!! Has begun!!! As the quartet of freaks talk of man things! Of mutants and avengers but very little cabbages or kings. We’re all enjoying Avengers vs. X-men and think you will too.
We then go from sales highs to sales low as we segue into talking of DC’s recent cancellations and newly announced National Comics series that was clearly inspired by our conversation last week.
Finally, Colm and Brian go on about some fun stories if the superhero world isn’t your thing as well as confessing his love for Denys Cowan (we presume he meant his art)
Then we’re onto Games as John tells you about what’s been announced and what we’re all excited about- even Colm, who can’t wait to play Skullgirls (though we think he’s missed the point of the game a little).
After that, we get serious and talk about the declining joy of the ‘collector’s editon’ purchase and how you seem to be getting less and less of your money’s worth and this isn’t just in games but also with,
Movies and TV with Christine where we talk about CARTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONS!!!! It is a great time to be both a kid and a nerd (and those jammy nerdy kids have all the luck) as we take a look at the Saturday and Sunday morning viewing that’s bringing us joy as we wolf down our cereal and listen to Mom give out about how messy the place is.
