If you haven’t already heard about this you will now. On Fridays Comic-Con panel for The Amazing Spider-Man while fans were waiting for actor Andrew Garfield, who plays Peter Parker, to grace the stage and introduce the panel a fan ran to the Q and A microphone dressed in a cheap Spider-Man costume.
The fan began to talk about Spider-man and half way through his second line he took of the mask to reveal Andrew Garfield underneath the crowd erupted in cheers and amazement as Garfield proceeded with a very heartfelt and moving speech.
It was his first time ever at Comic-Con and wanted this to be his first reveal as Peter Parker to the fans as a fan which is possibly the most amazing thing any actor has ever done at a Comic-Con. He explained “so here I am as a fan, “and then started speaking about his love for Spider-Man and how he “needed Spidey in my life”.
He went on to explain to everyone how much Spider-man meant to him personally as a fan growing up and created one of the most moving and inspirational speeches in Comic-Con history. It shows just how much he can give to the role of Spider-man and his loyalty to the wide fan base I think personally he is going to be the best Peter Parker yet. His honesty and heartfelt speech moved me and I’m glad that here at Comic-Buzz we can share it with you also let us know what you think:
